“After weeks of deliberating, changing dates, zoom calls, etc we finally agreed on a four week tour of Peru with Wayfairer Travel. This was superbly executed by Lotte who, through patience and expertise, put together an outstanding itinerary which we thoroughly enjoyed and could not recommend enough. The accommodations were on a superb, luxury level and a huge thanks to all our guides and drivers, who we met along each leg of the tour. Their expertise and safety at all times was faultless and we gained so much knowledge learning about the history of Peru. A special shout out to Chanelle, our designated concierge for our tour, who was on hand to assist us, should any problems occur. If anyone is thinking of touring Peru....don't hesitate, just do it!”

“Don't go anywhere else! Wayfairer Knocks it out of the park for your Safari trip of a lifetime! The moment you meet with them, they try to understand your expectations, your budget and your dream. The concierge service (Chanelle) will do their utmost to make sure you are safe, you stay at the right hotels, suggestions are made to maximize your dollar and experience and you are taken care of like a VIP from start to finish! The service and connection you will have is outstanding! I cannot wait for my next trip and I will definitely book with Wayfairer. If you are going to Kenya, make sure you do the balloon ride, do check out the giraffe centre, Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage and if you go to Diani Beach, the camel rides and glass bottom boats are incredible. Thank you Chanelle and team! Bravo!”

“My husband and I just returned from an 18 day trip to Japan and we agree that the trip exceeded our expectations! We were very specific about our interests and the need to minimize time in the big cities and the Wayfairer was so helpful in finding the rights places for us to visit, excellent guides (so knowledgeable and fun!), and wonderful accomodations. The drivers were courteous and always on time and our trip entailed a fair amount of train travel, for which Wayfairer provided very specific instructions, making us feel so at ease. There were a few glitches, but the company was responsive in resolving them, and given the complexity of our trip, we were very happy that we were always able to reach some one promptly. We would definitely book with Wayfairer again. After having used over 5 trip arrangers over the years, they were the best.”

“My husband and I spent a wonderful vacation in Japan for our 30th anniversary. Wayfairer did an amazing job helping us make plans including selecting hotels, arranging multiple private tour guides, and figuring out logistics to go from place to place. We started off on the right foot by having an itinerary with the details of our trip as well as phone numbers and confirmation numbers at our fingertips. Upon landing in Tokyo, we were greeted by our driver who brought us to our first hotel. Over the course of our trip, we had five excellent tour guides who each brought a different and interesting aspect of the culture and history to life. We also had plenty of time on our own, with Wayfairer making excellent suggestions but also allowing room for us to explore. When we did encounter a bump in the road, we had a contact concierge who could set things back on track. We loved our time in Japan and would be happy to use Wayfairer again to help us plan future travels. We highly recommend them!”

“Our trip to Tanzania was absolutely amazing. We were met at our hotel Arusha by our driver Masangi. He was so informative and explained every step of the trip. He knew all the animals and birds species and habits. We saw so much more that expected and left us with wanting more. The travel camps were excellent. The staff at each camp greeted us with smiles and song. I am a photographer which put me in photography heaven. After 3 weeks home, I am still editing my images. I want to thank you Dalia for you assistance and guidance.”

“Wayfarer helped us plan 20 days of independent travel in Japan. The planning process went smoothly with several excellent recommendations to what we wanted to do. The guides were exceptional, and the lodgings much better than we hoped. We really appreciated the help the guides gave us with meeting transportation. We had a few questions pop up as we were traveling (no problems), and we always credited responses within a few hours. We felt the guidance and assistance were invaluable and worth the costs to be in our own. There were a few things we would have done differently if we did not have a guide, but that’s to be expected.”

“Wayfairer Travel were so helpful and arranged our holiday to our specific requirements and requests through Tanzania via Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, finishing on the beaches of Zanzibar. They organised our flights both internationally from the UK and domestically within Tanzania. Our Safari guide, Msangi, was incredibly knowledgeable about every animal from tiny to large and every bird from the Fire Finch to Ostrich. The Tortillis Camps were so comfortable with exceptional staff who literally could not do enough for you. This was a once in a life time holiday and we definitely choose the right company. I'd book again tomorrow given half a chance.”

“Our July trip to Tanzania and Kenya could not have been better; Ellie and Toon did an amazing job coordinating our our of 12 family members with ages from 8 to 78. We booked first a a group of 7, then weeks later added 2 more,and finally even later, added 3 more. With each change, the number of vehicles and staff for support was changed and the costs per person were adjusted, sometimes up, sometimes down, all done cheerfully and efficiently. At one point they found an overpayment error and quickly refunded the balance. Staff were always available, even with the challenge of different time zones. The trip itself was fabulous - Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Mara North - and the accommodations were superb.”

“Wayfairer organising my first ever solo trip. From the initial conversations with Malcolm to understand my preferences and interests to a plan that clearly reflected I had been listened to. This was my second trip to Japan so having a chance to explore new places and experience fresh aspects of it was wonderful. Even better, it was completely stress free and not restrictive at all. The right balance of planned activities and time to myself, especially as I’m usually an independent traveller and don’t enjoy crowds. Every location was well selected. I loved every activity, in particular the calligraphy lesson. It instilled an unusual sense of calm and focus. Food recommendations were fantastic and the accommodation in Matsumoto was beautiful - I could have stayed there. I would easily ask for your help again to help me continue exploring Japan or perhaps other places. Thank you.”

“Wayfairer organised our honeymoon. We did a trip to Tanzania - climbing Kilimanjaro, safari and Zanzibar. It was a wonderful trip, and we had a fantastic time. They easily understood what we wanted from the trip and did a great job organising it for us. “I cannot say enough about my 16 day trip through Japan! Malcolm really listened to what was important to me, asked about my interests, and created an itinerary that blew my mind in honor of my husband and my 15th wedding anniversary. There were cultural excursions, theme parks, nature hikes - every site, tour, activity, and experience was tailored to me - and he was able to share cultural tips and suggestions to make my visit perfect. Peach was an incredible source of support prior to and throughout my entire journey. My family was 13 hours behind me so it was wonderful to have Peach almost in my time zone, right there in the moment when I was excited and wanted to share my experiences immediately. I felt so cared for and supported throughout my travels that even though this was a solo trip, it felt like she was by my side. “Our two week trip to Japan was a true success. We began planning the trip with Maggie, and continued our arrangements with June in the concierge department. June and the whole Wayfairer Travel team were always accessible and responsive. I loved the tours that were recommended. We had personable and highly knowledgeable guides for all of our tours. I especially enjoyed the well situated boutique hotels that were selected. Although, I’d never heard of Eiheiji, a small mountain town that Maggie recommended, this stop was one our highlights with a lovely ryokan situated next to a large temple and active Buddhist monastery which we were able to tour. Our final destination was in Hakone where we stayed at the lovely, memorable Gora Kadan Ryokan. This was truly a memorable trip.”

“We had an amazing family trip to the Lower Zambezi (Zambia) perfectly organized by Wayfairer. After talking with the Wayfairer expert about what we were looking for we book both camps he advised and it was our best safari ever. Small camp, totally remote on the bank of the Zambezi with a real bush feeling. No luxury but very comfortable. We had wonderful sighting of leopards and lions each day, and we were lucky enough to see a pack of wild dogs hunting a herd of buffalos. I really recommend Wayfairer travel, as they can perfectly organise the trip you dream about. The follow up after booking was reactive and attentive and very professional. During the journey as well everything went smoothly. Really a great experience!”
