Happy to recommend this service - but only to people I really do not like. From placing the order through to the installation process and after, I have had to deal with people who either didn't know what they were doing, didn't care or both. I have never come across a service so completely devoid of any saving grace at all. An absolute and complete shambles. I could go on, but feel I have already wasted far too much of my life dealing with these people. Cleverly they make sure you pay 'up front' - otherwise I would have cancelled my order and happily gone elsewhere. Be warned, these people only want your money.

Left in Dangerous state with main live feed to house loose. Luckily no fire took place but could have done. Were left with no heating or hot water for 3 days as economy 7 wasn’t wired back in. Also when came out to sort even the pod point wasn’t wired in correctly. Customer service pretty poor until finally got hold of someone helpful but took ages to get to that stage. I would not recommend and would avoid the company for your own safety

The installation man did a great job but the communication process before was very poor. Very difficult to get answers to the questions I asked prior to the installation.

Incredibly poor service prior to installation. Communication was virtually non-existent and I had to chase repeatedly for updates and this went on for weeks. Eventually, through threatening to cancel my order I managed to get an installation date. The installation was fine and the product works well which is why I can give 1 out of 5 stars.

Pod Point provided the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I was on the point of demanding my money back and the reassignment of the Government grant when 'out of the blue' I was contacted after 2 and a half months total silence.

Very poor service. Had to pay for laying the cable twice. When I recieved my newcar the charging point did not work. Total lack of customer focus

The installation was fine, the holder for the cable broke within two weeks, I asked for help and got an automated email and link to create a case to get help, there is no option to do this I can see, poor quality cable holder and the aftercare is equally poor!

Took ages to get an appointment and when it did, the guy arrived on site and had a family emergency to attend to, so left - fair enough - but it seems I went to the back of the queue and it took another age to get someone else out to do the install. By this point of course it was pretty much an emergency as the car was due any day. Guy left a pallette behind, which the stand for the charger came mounted to, not sure why they couldn't have brought that themselves, or at the very least taken the rubbish away. What am I supposed to do with a pallette? This stand is basically a small metal post and cost me £408. Seriously?? Install was done fine, but again I was left with off cuts of wire, boxes etc - take your rubbish away with you! Not very good all round really.

Shocking treatment and took over 5 months of excuses and delays before final installation which was subcontracted out and they were excellent. What kind of company ignores your emails for weeks with the excuse that they had gone into junk mail and could not understand why? - Just says it all!!! Just a rubbish company and they have the audacity to demand payment in advance i.e. 5 months in advance - shocking!!! DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Poor experience. Damage caused to gas meter box during installation and I am still chasing it to be repaired.

This was one of the worst things i have ever had to do all the going back and forth with what the company needs prior to installation. Then you send the images that dont work as they are too large. Rather than them doing the work thereselves was a total nightmare from start to finish. Would not reccomend this. As i feel i had to do all the work rather than them send out an engineer to see what would be required..

Installed fine but it works no better than using a 3 pin plug. Called pod point very nice young man answered said he has passed it on to supervisor. Six days later I’m still waiting for any further information. Not really good enough when you’ve paid so much money.

The pod point charger did not work when I tried to use it for the first time after the installation. When I contacted customer service - they said I will need to pay £170 to get the engineer to come back and fix the issue. This was very very disappointing.

Extremely poor customer service. Very quick to take full payment for the work before doing anything for several weeks and we then had to chase for an installation date. Despite our concerns, one member of their staff decided to be repeatedly rude and unhelpful and did nothing to address our concerns. They sent a subcontracted electrician who had never installed a 22kw charger on a 3-phase supply but was willing to have a go until he realised he did not have the correct armoured cable. We then had to chase again for a further installation date. The final installation was great and the podpoint works well but the customer service was dreadful throughout.

I found the experience with pod point to be absolutely pathetic. After numerous requests for pictures of layout , fuse boxes and where the cable would be running , I give up and requested they sent me the cable out so I could get someone else to run it under the floor. (Paid for myself ) I have heard they have lost the Audi contract this is no surprise going by my experience

The firm has no customer focus, sends automated emails instead of answering queries and cancels installations by email less than 24 hours before the appointment without explaining
