I ordered a shipment of frozen mice from Northampton Reptile Centre who have a frozen delivery guarantee. The item was shipped on 14th December on a Next Day Delivery by 4pm instruction. The item was out for delivery all day on the 15th December with a delivery time of between 4.41 pm and 6.41pm – this is out-with the delivery time requested by Northampton Reptile Centre in order for the goods to remain frozen. The delivery time came and went and then we were informed that the driver had stopped deliveries for the day because he had “ran out of time”. I emailed to complain to APC Overnight as this was meant to be a frozen delivery. The email response I received assured me that my item would arrive frozen as it was packed accordingly. Today, 16th December, the item was delivered at 3.10pm, in a box marked with large letters, DRY ICE and LIVE FOODS and NEXT DAY DELIVERY BY 4PM – the mice were completely thawed out. This leaves them unsuitable for use at all as they cannot be re-frozen. If re-frozen and then defrosted later to feed your snake, it could kill the snake. I contacted the company to complain but they refused to accept any liability claiming that Northampton Reptile Centre had not marked the delivery as perishable goods. Their customer service is non-existent, they do not care one bit if they fail to make their deliveries on time and you can NEVER get through to the local depot – in my case GLENROTHES, FIFE – as they will not answer the phone regardless of whether you ask for customer service, sales or accounts department. I called the HEAD OFFICE to complain who are just as bad and fob you off saying you have to complain to the company who sent you the goods. I do not see how the sender is liable for the obvious failings of the courier company. DO NOT USE THEM OR USE ANY COMPANY WHICH RELIES ON APC OVERNIGHT FOR THEIR DELIVERIES. Complete failure and let down by this disgusting excuse for a delivery service.

Terrible courier. Dont update delivery details, no way of speaking to local depot. Spent 45 mins waiting to speak to head office only for customer service to deliberately cut me off. Got a text today saying delivery would be 1-3pm yesterday. To top it off whilst you wait for ever to speak to customer service they state a "reliable delivery service with great customer service"!!! Avoid like the plague

I am waiting for a package to arrive before we move house this Friday. It's been stuck at the Chester le Street depot since Saturday morning. I've sent 3 emails (all ignored) and tried to get through by phone, but the recorded message points me back to their website/email/phone. We're still having deliveries from DPD, MyHermes, Yodel and Parcel Force, so what is going on?? The least they could do is ask another depot to step into help, or buy in a contractor. Truly dreadful and shocking behaviour from this company. Unprofessional.

I really wanted to give zero stars. I've had good service for years from APC but Depot 62 in the North East seems to be having massive problems. They claim that their phones aren't working and they are not answering emails. I've been waiting days for a delivery now and I have no idea when it will arrive.

I was told that my order would be delivered today between 12.23 -14.23. I tracked within that time to find the delivery was only 3 stops from us. A little later I tracked again to find a message claiming that we had refused delivery, utter nonsense. Our bell and intercoms function and we have regular deliveries from other carriers without any problem at all. The APC driver made no effort to contact us and (obviously) no card has been left. This is an absolute disgrace. I’ve had no contact at all from APC to explain this miserable service and I’ve tried but failed to contact APC this afternoon as, according to their answerphone, they are having trouble with their telephones! Dreadful service.

Bought 2 winter tyres from ebay which were dispatched on the 2/12/21. Still not been delivered 13/12/21. No updates on their tracking site. Emailed them, no response ! Tried ringing, no response ! Worst service ever !!!

Absolute gash service and have actually cost me days of labour as the parcel I was waiting for was vital for my work !! Would never recommend or use again ! The driver seemed to vanish off the pinpoint app they have also , obviously fancied an early shift !!

Worst company ever,never answer phone calls. Was given a delivery slot of 14.38-16.38 on 9/12/21,nothing arrived,no communication to advise of delay,same thing happened next day too.Finally got package 11/12/21. No apologies or explanation given due to delays. Wouldn’t mind but there local depot is an 11 minute drive from my house. Definitely need a crash course in customer service skills.

I was supposed to get a delivery today, I got a text that my parcel will be delivered and tried to work my schedule around the time frame given but there was no delivery, no call or anything of rescheduling not until I called, they said the driver ran out of time and my parcel is back in their depot. Really!!!!

AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! APC REVIEW WHERE DO I START???? TOTALLY INCOMPETENT WITH ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ZERO INTEGRITY. I WOULDN'T TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH AN EMPTY BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in Aberdeen Scotland which is a very small city and I live in the city centre. However, I been waiting for a delivery for 4 days which still hasn't turned up. I received a txt fro APC on 7th December 2021 advising me that they would be between 14:00hrs and 16:00 then received a second txt later that day to say that a delivery attempt was made which DID NOT HAPPEN!!! Because I was at home all day. In fact I'm at home every day because I'm a disabled senior citizen. So I down load the APC app onto my mobile phone an rescheduled a delivery for the next the 8th December and surprise surprise NO DELIVERY!!! So I went into the app on the 9th December enter my delivery number to track it and the app showed it was out for delivery but I received no txt this time. On going into the app later in the it claimed another delivery attempt, again absolute rubbish. I abide in a multi-story so to gain entry into the building a person has to enter the resident's fllat number and ring the buzzer anounced who they are then the resident presses an entry button on their intercom to release the security door to allow access into the building for a visitor use one of the internal lifts to the required floor. I did have deliveries from Amazon and Royal Mail that day but not APC. That evening I popped an email to APC to enquire about my delivery. The following day the 10th December I get a reply advising me that is is logged out to a driver for delivery. Now as I write this review it is 00:25hrs on the 11th December and APC have never delivered my package!!! I've popped APC another email and left a telephone message be interesting to see if I get any response. In all my days I have never experienced such gross incompetence with any other delivery company as I have with APC. I really hope NAFF!!! APC company goes down the tubes rapidly and very very soon so that all our packages will be can be delivered by real professional drivers with integrity. I like to tip my delivery drivers, quite simply because I like to look after those who look me. But the only tip APC deserve is just our UTTER CONTEMPT!!!!!!!

Horrendous! Avoid. So, so bad. Never had anything delivered on time by them yet. A full pallet of tiles went missing and have still never arrived 2 months on. Now we are waiting for a kitchen sink. They claim they tried to deliver and no one triggered our video doorbell. We rearranged for delivery 2 days later and we waited all day, no one came. Now we can't get hold of the Teesside branch because there is some problem with the phone lines???? We.emaiked 2 days ago and no one has responded. We now have to cancel the plumber and have no water in our kitchen due to the sink being missing now for 5 days.

I ordered materials from a supplier. I was waiting all afternoon for my order and DID NOT arrived /Out for delivery message was sent but no one came/ They like to take pictures from the building and just leave because they are not able to push the door to come in. ...and it is not the first time. Another delivery companies can deliver but this one ......

On 2nd December 2021 I placed an order with a company based in Enfield. The package was dispatched quickly and was being delivered overnight by APC to my location in Central Scotland. I received text notification delivery time slot the following day however it did not arrive. This scenario went on daily for 5 days where again each day I received notification that it was out for delivery. Via the pin point tracking I was able to see the detail of the drop number my package was in however at the end of each day the driver never reached my drop number and tracking indicated the van back at its base in Newbridge near Edinburgh. The company who had dispatched the the package had made contact to ascertain the situation with my package however the courier APC never resolved the problem. The last situation was when the company who dispatched the package made their contact with their sister company near to the courier base and attended there to collect it themselves and deliver it to me personally. This driver also experienced a 45 minute delay at the courier base while they made efforts to find my package which they did and it was thereby delivered to me 6 days after my order was dispatched. I was very disappointed with this service by APC. I sense that there clearly problems in handling all the packages and delivering them to customers. Such a national courier company should be able to handle logistics and resolve issues efficiently.......they clearly failed in this relative to my package which was eventually resolved by the sender taking action to help me out.

If I could give zero stars i would. Awful company with some of the worst customer service i've ever seen. Had my parcel now for over 3 weeks, won't deliver it or give me any indication when they will. All 4 previous dates I've been given have been cancelled without notice and no communication from them. There Edinburgh depot cuts calls off before they are answered 95% of the time and when you do get to speak to them they basically say we're short of drivers and you'll need to wait for the parcel. Head Office team not much better - fob you off with standard replies - but no effort made to help customers. Avoid at all costs. I won't be buying from any company who use APC as their delivery company and will be telling them why i won't be buying from them. The company I purchased the item i'm waiting on are a small UK based company so its ultimately them who suffer with lost business while APC simply don't care.

For some reason, my doctors are using this courier service to deliver my medication. It was meant to be delivered on Monday 6th Dec. Every day till today, I would get an email saying it would be delivered in a time slot. Every day, no delivery. I would watch the tracking page pinpoint the delivery truck on a map roads away from my house and it would never come. Their tracking even gave me a number - I'm the 48th delivery, the driver is on number 22, like in a queue. They never reached my number, and on Wednesday it went UP to 54. How is that even possible? There are clearly fundamental issues here with this company in addition to COVID-related delays. They don't pick up the phone, I tried two separate numbers. No email response. Their system is messed up somehow. And I get a 1-day, or 3-day delay. But FIVE DAYS for MEDICATION. Clowns.

Terrible company, Unable to follow delivery instructions from seller and extremely unhelpful in trying to resolve the situation. Unfortunately I would now avoid using the seller again in the future due to such unreliable courier.

Similar bad experience to others here. I was given a delivery slot but the package never arrived, no communication from APC to explain where it was and the tracking is completely unhelpful as it has not been updated. Tried calling and emailing to get an update but got nowhere. Cannot recommend them at all.
