Not great on product or customer service. Sizing was well out and had to play email tennis with customer services to get my refund. Won’t consider their products going forward based on this. I got the impression they didn’t believe me and was asked to submit a number of photographs as evidence.

I am very frustrated to learn that I am being asked to pay customs fees on my order in order which i was not informed about at the time of purchase. I purchased from the website ending in '.ca', expected free shipping and delivery per website advertising. There is nothing on the website about customs fees and I did not know that my order was being shipped from abroad until after I placed it. I would not have made the order if I was aware of the additional customs fees I would be required to pay. I have put in a written complaint but have not heard a response yet. I will not be making any future purchases from this company. I am very disappointed as I have been satisfied with ordering from them in the past when I was not required to pay any extra fees on delivery.

Took a lot longer to be delivered.. still need to pick up from courier.. thought I got a great deal with Black Friday sale 35% off.. total bill $137.. But Just got a $42 charge for duty and taxes . 30% … brutal… wish I was advised before purchase… hope the gloves work well

Bought two pairs of socks, one appeared new and one clearly was not. The packaging was all torn up and the socks looked faded, like they'd been washed. Unfortunately, that second pair also leaks. Sealskinz requires you to go through a difficult process to prove their product is defective before they'll accept a return (pressure tests, photos and videos, etc.). I chose to order another pair instead. It's been weeks and that pair still hasn't arrived. I depart tomorrow and will not have the socks for the intended trip. Meanwhile, Sealskinz has repeatedly asked me for a review so here it is. Once you finally get it, the product is good if it's new and waterproof. If not, get ready for some pain.

Your products are very good but i had an old pair of socks that had a leak Filled in the on line form and that was the last i herd 3 week's ago

Wanted those cool heated gloves (Upwell?) and ordered them with the Welcome discount! But for some reason DHL doesn't ship batteries in airplanes in the 21st century and my package was stopped in the UK even though DHL said it was delivered after 2 days. Yeah, not fun. I thought it was lost for a day or two of customer service interaction (with DHL and Sealskinz). The Sealskinz customer service got back to me after a day or two of emailing via the contact us page on the website, but for some reason the response went to my Gmail spam filter. I only noticed it on day 3 of my glove search. Sealskinz customer service said they would work to get it shipped but then just refunded the order. They sent an email later explaining the situation and offering a nice discount code (+1 ⭐). They also informed me about the battery shipping issue and that those gloves can't be shipped on planes and were now removed from the American store webpage. Big bummer. It's getting cold in Boston and I still like biking in winter and I thought these gloves might help keep my fingers from going numb. I found the same pair on Amazon and ordered them. I'm not sure if the XL will fit my sausage fingers but we shall put your size chart to the test! (my palm is 9" circumference) If not, I will curse loudly, return to Amazon and wish yet again I were a smaller person rather than a 6'4" giant who can't have nice things because these cool warming gloves do not come in XXL... On a side note, I dislike ordering clothing online and found your company when shopping at REI co-op. It would be great to have more gloves sold there to try out.

I love the product but having to pay an additional $23 to receive my parcel from Canada Post? Well, it sucks. Had I known, I would have used our USA address. I shopped the SealSkinz Canada site expecting it was geared towards Canadians.

Ordered the socks on the 17 of October and tomorrow it will be Halloween and still no sign of my socks. I just hope they live up to their claims … here’s hoping.

I only managed to test these once now for a rainy run, but oddly my toes got wet - not sure if socks leaked, or was my feet sweating so much that they get wet. I need to test more, but at a moment a bit disappointed.

Hats are good quality, but one of the hats I ordered is too small. There are no exchanges to Canada and I emailed to confirm that I need to just send the hat back to the Canadian address provided on the website, but there has been no response in over a week. I am hesitant to just send a hat back without any confirmation that I will get a refund.

Unfortunately, after only light use already the seam of the cuff has completely loosened (so once all around). I have had this repaired (see attached photo). For a sock of this price range, however, this should not have happened.

You sold me a waterproof sock with special rubber waterproof seal. They are not waterproof !

Thank you for your review. With regards to the function of the socks, these are constructed as a three-layer product. They have an outer layer that can get wet (this will absorb water), an inner layer, and a waterproof membrane sandwiched in between. It is this membrane that provides a barrier to water passing through the outer layer and into the socks and keeps your feet dry. All the products will keep water out up to the sewn level of the cuff (this can be seen if the socks are turned down) and they perform in the same manner as a Wellington/gumboot. If they are immersed in water above this level, they will become wet. This also applies if the cuffs are worn uncovered or with clothing tucked into them as this would allow water to splash into the sock or to run down the legs or clothing and into the socks through the cuff. The band inside the socks of our Hydrostop models provides a closer fit to the legs to help reduce the amount of water that can freely run inside the cuffs if they are worn uncovered in the wet, however, it cannot provide a vacuum or watertight seal. We do recommend that all socks are worn tucked under clothing to prevent water from running down the legs and clothing and funneling inside the cuffs. The day before delivery, the package was in Salzburg. I thought it would come the next day, The delivery was delayed by 5 days because it was not cleared at customs in Vienna, so it was returned to customs. This led to my mum not getting her package in time before travelling back to South Africa, so I had to pay 50 Euros to send it via DHL.

I ordered 2 pair, of your sock/products. Most recently took a trip down the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon. I also had a rubber paddle footware that I put over my Sealskinz socks. I am hear to tell you that day one and through day seven my feat were wet . Not so much cold but very wet. The socks did fry out overnight but same result for the next seven day. So it is my expectation that when I purchase a product and it states that the product is waterproof, that it is really waterproof. That my thoughts. And by the way, the water temperature in the river was at least 50 degrees. More than chilly.

The service and delivery where brilliant and I loved the gloves however after only a short period of time they are damaged and have holes which was disappointing as very expensive!
