“I bought Sealskinz so I would not have to buy a pair of waterproof boots. They performed great in ankle deep water and slush conditions in the Grand Canyon. One day we hiked over 12 mi and the socks kept my feet warm and dry, and they were blister free.”

“The original order was delivered perfectly, but when I returned the gloves to exchange for a larger size they were lost in your warehouse and I had to chase up after waiting over a week with no communication at all.”

The size guides for our Overshoes are intended to provide a guide to the size that may best suit based on your shoe size. However, the final fit can vary as, unlike feet which are for the most part, similar in shape and structure, there is a vast range of footwear in all types of materials, sole thicknesses, fastener types, and with different external features. This can all affect the size, shape, width, and height of the shoe and in turn determine and affect the final fit of the Overshoe. We offer a wider range of sizes to try and accommodate as large a range of shoe sizes as possible and we also offer a variety of models to try and accommodate all types of footwear. Our Consumer team is always on hand to offer quick and helpful advice and they can be contacted at any time through our website or via email at help@sealskinz.com.

“I’m not sorter happy. These gloves have only been used a few times and the leather is already worn out. A piece actually ripped. I just wore them skiing… I tried ti get a replacement but the company wouldn’t. They did end up giving me a small amount back but for how much I paid, I was very disappointed. I will probably not buy from them again. The gloves don’t last normal wear. I seriously wasn’t being rough and I won’t be able to wear them next season.”

Thank you for your review. The palms of our leather gloves can be marked, scuffed, and pulled if they encounter rough, harsh or abrasive surfaces or larger amounts of repeated friction. This is typical for leather, however, the issues will generally be cosmetic and the appearance or rough surfaces can be improved by cleaning and conditioning the leather. In this instance, as the issues were cosmetic affecting the surface of the leather and not affecting use or waterproofness, the team arranged a partial refund as a Goodwill gesture. The gloves are still covered by the warranty and guarantee and in the event that a fault develops in the product in the future, a warranty claim can be submitted as usual.
