“Products are OK but not great”

“I had hoped the gloves were exactly the right size, having viewed the size chart on website and measured my hand. The label on gloves said Women's Medium but other paperwork said Unisex size. A woman with medium hand size is not the same a man's medium hand size.”

“This is a replacement set of gloves. Sealskinz have been excellent in getting these to me. They even enclosed a couple of extra bonus items.....very impressed. Unfortunately, the gloves fit extremely tight. Which is odd, as the gloves they replaced were extremely large. These latest gloves cramp my hand, so are likely to be useless to me. However, I will just grin and bare it, as Sealskinz have been extremely fair with me this far, and I feel too guilty asking them to send a larger size. It is odd that their sizing varies so much between gloves though (and their size chart is extremely inaccurate relative to their gloves).”

“I’ve had a pair of these before but sizing seems to have changed and they are too big. Unfortunately removed the tags before I realised. Put up against my previous pair they are bigger.”

“Not only we have to pay the shipping cost, we had to pay extra when I picked up the parcel in canada, an extra $24.31 . The price of the socks is equivalent to the shipping cost so in the end its not worth it”

“Honestly I like the product very my much. But for 2 pair of socks and a hat, I had to pay $70 over retail in duties to get it in Canada. So the cost vs value just isn't there.”

“You have said you will reimburse me for customs charges. How will I get this money refunded. It amounts to $86.36. Perhaps I should just send it back.”

Hi Barbara Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that you have been presented with charges. We ship all International Orders with the instruction to ship DDP (delivered duty paid) . We have recently moved to a new fulfilment centre and there has been a system error at their end which has caused this issue for orders placed late October to early November. The matter has since been resolved by Nov 10th but could not be corrected for orders that had already been shipped prior to this date. Please accept our apologies again for this inconvenience. “I live in Canada and just wanted process on how to return a product. Whomever I spoke to, was helpful but was unable to answer my question and explained that someone would send me the procedure on returns. I explained that to return a product from where I live, I can only go thru the Postal Service. When I did receive information on how to return product, it explained how to return, by parcel service and not Postal Service from Canada. Not a big deal, but would've been nice to get correct info. Will have to contact you again.”

“Probably the comfiest and definitely thee best fitting S/M hat I’ve worn only small negative I have is there’s a small hole on the inside of the hat. Nothing major and doesn’t really affect it at all.”

“I have purchased 2 sets of hunting gloves from sealskinz on the recommendation of a friend of mine. The product itself is quality, but the sizing has been an issue for me. The most recent pair is XXL and the fingers are way to short for me to use properly. My hand is 11”, in terms of sizing. I still use them, but not for hunting. Wish they made them one size bigger.”

“Having bought several Sealskinz products in the past and been very pleased, the waterproof socks are the worst product I have bought from them. The seam positions make a poor fit across the toes causing the sock to crumple. Just about acceptable but not as good as I was expecting.”
