My BMW WAS ESTIMATED AT £10K I showed up on the day and was offered £5K because there was a 1cm paint chip on the front bumper. And some several tiny paint chips on the back bumper from my recent move. KASSAM the salesman said I’d need new bumpers £2K each - which is just not so. My car is in perfect condition co side ring is been used. My advice — touch up any paint chip on your bumpers. Mine were so minimal I didn’t think to bother! I got totally Ripped off and KASSAM ‘Phillimore Gardens’ Horton Car park. Bring a man with you ladies!

Excellent customer service but I would like to wander why value drops so much after 2 attempts?

Hi Christopher, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm glad to hear that you were happy with the Customer Service you received. The vehicle market changes on a regular basis and we therefore update our prices every day, based on current market conditions. We have a team of Pricing Analysts who are constantly monitoring the value of used cars. They track various factors such as demand, availability of a particular model and current sale prices we are experiencing for such vehicles. We are constantly adjusting our valuations in response to the fluctuations and we therefore offer a 4 day guarantee period on our valuations as this protects customers against any changes in the market during this period. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email us at talktousnow@webuyanycar.com. Thanks, The WBAC Team
Agreed a price at the site and point of sale and then paid me less than agreed .I then complained but promised reply within 3-5 days but still nothing.😡

Low balled us by £1000 based on online valuation and current market value of car. Was expecting it to be lower (around 7300-500) but for a car worth £8000, £6750 was not a reasonable offer.

I sold my car to WBAC on Sunday and have still to receive any email in lieu of completion paperwork due to the sale being ‘contact free’. Guys in site were very nice at the time, but subsequent emails and calls to them and their CS requesting proof that they bought it from me have gone unanswered. I am a very anxious person,so you can imagine the flux I’m in having walked away and left my car there with no proof whatsoever that they bought it from me or confirmation of how much they will pay me and when I will receive payment.

I was offered £750 on line, took my van in and was offered £220. I said I wasn't happy with that, got it bumped up £350,ask around before you sell. SI

Seen my car up for sale 1 week later with £ 6700 more on it than wbac gave me and the agent was knocking hundreds off for a stone chip you could hardly see with the naked eye, feel like I’ve been ripped

Still no payment.... I wouldn't touch them again. Four days to payment for an 'admin fee' of £74.99? It's been a week today and zilch, nothing. They lowered their initial quote of 18,290 which on the day came down by 800 when the assessor spent 30 minutes detailing around 15 nigh invisible somethings. Must be on commission. Bit of a bad joke - impossible to decline when the new car arrival is immanent.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it and we apologise for any disappointment caused. We’re really sorry to hear about any delays with your payment. Although such instances are extremely rare, it sounds like on this occasion we have had to place your payment on hold. The reasons for this, along with the next steps that you’ll need to take moving forward, will have been emailed to yourself. We would recommend checking your inbox and junk/spam folders and following the advice given within this email. If you have already done so and require some additional assistance, please contact talktousnow@webuyanycar.com or drop us a message via Facebook: bit.ly/WBACFB or Twitter: bit.ly/WBACTwitter. Additionally, we’re really sorry if the amount offered wasn’t what you had hoped for. With that said, we do offer a no obligation service, meaning if there’s any aspect of the service, that isn’t right for you, you’re under no obligation to sell to us. Thank you, The WBAC Team
i know that they have to make a profit but i think they are taking the p when quoting 410 for my car when the trading in price is 750.00 and auto trader prices are £1250-£1500 so if sell privately that' s a difference of 800-1000 pounds what even funnier is if i had gone to them they would of probable given me 200 quid as they always find faults small scratches only one key ect , which is less than a scrap man would give !!! my advise if you need money desperately then fine use them , if you don't triple your money and sell privately

After receiving an online valuation from Webuanycar.com I made an appointment for the following day to complete the transaction. The car was inspected by the company representative and he approved the condition of the vehicle; however, after he checked online he came back with an offer £500 lower than the one I had received. When I asked why he said the offer was dependant upon auction values and these continually changed. I complained that the value given online was stated as being valid for 4 days and as my appointment was the day following the valuation why the significant reduction; his response was simply take it of leave it. This very unsatisfactory situation is not inline with their national advertising and needs to be addressed!

Hi Kelvin, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, we really appreciate it. We’re really sorry if the customer service that you received on this occasion fell short of both yours and our expectations. This isn’t the level of service we would expect you to receive and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your review will indeed be fed back and any relevant additional training/support will be provided. We do trust this to be an isolated incident and hope that you will consider webuyanycar.com again in the future. Our online valuations are calculated using only the information that our customers provide, therefore if no scuffs, chips, scratches or dents are declared at this point, the valuation provided will be reflective of this. Whilst we accept that the majority of used cars will have experienced a certain amount of wear and tear, we make no assumptions about the extent of this as it can vary greatly from vehicle to vehicle and we instead rely on our customers to describe the vehicles they have in their possession. We’re sorry that on this occasion the final price offered failed to meet with your expectations. This said; we offer a no obligation service which means if the price we offer isn’t acceptable, you are never under any obligation to sell to us. Thank you, the WBAC Team
Don't get your hopes up regarding what price they quote you. Our vehicle had everything they had asked for, all the parts, service history, paperwork, brand new windscreen, minimal damage, etc. We got nearly a thousand less than quoted after the man admitted they had leeway to 'play around with numbers'. Then got charged £30 for the privilege of a wire transfer. Convenient is about all can be said in their favour.

Was knocked down on marks on a 12yr old car

They value your car based on a 1-5 scale, 1 being showroom quality. So you get a valuation based on being perfect and when you show up it gets knocked down by at least 12% if your car is just average. So you are mislead from the beginning. They count every stone chip, which knocks the valuation down considerably. My car was 10 years old 20k under average mileage and 3 stone chips on the bonnet. Considered to be average rated a 3. What car of any age doesn’t have some scratches particularly a 10 year old car with full service history, low mileage and added extras. I feel mislead and duped. I know I have a choice to sell, but it’s the misleading valuation that brings you in.

I put my registration in like it says and it came up with a valuation of £1.060 so I took my car to the depot and they looked round it like they do and they came up with a new valuation of £530 half the first quote.so I wouldn't use them again buy each to there own

Had a quote online, very easy Staff friendly and very welcoming Only got half of what valued online, even though it was good condition and full service history Saw the car a month later at a local dealer at twice the quoted price to me online!

I knew I'd get less than I was quoted online. They grade cars 1-5. Grade 1 is apparently brand new and 5 is a donkey. Grade 3 is a car with wear and tear equal to its age and mileage. My car was graded 3 and the offer was 20%LESS than the online valuation. Phillip, you should be ashamed. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the sales guy was pleasant. I'd never use them again or recommend them.

Sold my car at Carlton, Nottingham yesterday after receiving a valuation of £17,355 (received further email today confirming same valuation), however when selling my car starting valuation was £17,000 even though I showed the email I received, thought that was a bit poor service.

Entered every scratch on valuation site, when I got to portacabin sale site valuation went down £400 Valuer asked me where the scratch was,he could not find it!! On pointing it out valuation droped, even though stated online! "Computer says no" FCA investigated them a few years back, now I know why.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback and apologies for any disappointment caused. We have taken a closer look at this for you and unfortunately it looks like you didn’t fully detail the condition of your car when obtaining your online valuation. At your appointment, we recorded numerous discrepancies. We therefore amended your valuation accordingly to reflect the condition of your car. - The WBAC Team
