“Delighted with my sign from Village Green. It was just what I wanted as I had to put our house name on a parcel box by our gate. It was just the right size and clearly indicates who the box belongs to. Deliver was by our favourite Courier and customer services was very helpful - Will using Village Green signs again, and recommend them”

“I love the idea of having a custom house number and name... I saw all of the different options on Village Green and thought I'd buy one as an anniversary gift for my daughter and her husband. The order led me to believe it would take 6-8 week. In actuality delivery took 12+ weeks, which was disappointing. I visited my daughter this past weekend and saw the oval plaque before it was put up... I was even MORE DISAPPOINTED. The resin plaque is not heavy and of a high quality. It felt like it would break if you dropped it. The painting on the flowers, numbers and street are very nicely, done but the overall quality of the item (I do not believe ) was worth £83.00. It looked the the ones I could have bought at Timpsons. Nice quality for what it is but waaaay overpriced.”

“It took quite some time from order to delivery and reasonably happy with the sign. I assumed wrongly that the sign would be made/cast from something more substantial like iron however I believe it to be of a cast resin of some sort. I was concerned in that even when being extra carfull when fitting, the paint just under the screw heads started to peel off easily and although not a major problem my main concern is how the paints will weather as there seems to be no protective clearcoat (such as a varnish or laquer) to protect the lovely paintwork. Time will tell although generally pleased at this stage.”

“Our plaque was finally delivered after 8 weeks, unfortunately with multiple imperfections when it was cast, the colour is bland & flowers are much smaller than on-line example. We sent an email & photos on day of delivery to explain this and received an automated response that said you would try to respond within 48 hours, it’s been over a week so far and we are still waiting . . . How can you state on-line that every item is bespoke & made by artisans when there is obviously no quality control prior to items being sent to customers ? Our plaque at £91.00 is overpriced and resembles something bought ‘off the shelf’ at B&Q or Simpsons for £15.00. Would not recommend !!”

“Our sign arrived promptly, was carefully packed and came with everything necessary to screw it to the wall. I had to replace the rawlpugs with some that had an outer lip, so that they didn’t go to the back of the hole. This would have been unnecessary if I’d drilled the hole exactly the right depth, but as i made it too deep the rawlpugs provided went in deeper than the screws. The sign looks great and we’re very pleased with the result.”
