I have a Weissman boiler. It's excellent. So why only 3 stars? Try to think of a word to describe Wiessman Head Office when you read this account. I ordered a new boiler through the excellent local company who fit and service Weissman boilers for my son. The boiler supplied had parts missing (clips). When fitted, water went everywhere compromising the circuit boards and the fan. New parts were fitted by the local engineer to the new un-commissioned and unused boiler. Weissman was contacted by the local firm and my phone number provided. Weissman Head Office did nothing while I waited for the rest of the day at the house where the family had delayed their removal vans. On the following day a Weissman engineer arrived. He had received a message (from my local engineer) and acted on his own initiative, driving from more than an hour away. He was excellent. He fitted new circuit boards and a fan and checked everything very thoroughly. I returned home to receive a message from Weissman asking me to make an appointment for the work which had just been done. I ignored it, believing Head Office would sort out their errors. Next I received a phone call from Weissman trying to arrange an appointment for the work that had just been done. I told the Weissman agent "Thanks but the work has already been completed." Was that the end of it? No. The following day I received another message from Weissman asking me to make an appointment for the work already carried out the previous day. The boiler is in and has been providing how water and central heating for more than 24 hours. What word would you use for this catalogue of Head Office errors? Mine is incompetent. The boiler is great even though Weissman Quality Control clearly isn't. My local firm is superb. Weissman really need to sort out their communications.

Don't. Get a proper boiler. So.many issues with it not reading the temp.. randomly turns on and you can't shut it off with app even when u set the temp low. Only way is on the boiler itself. The app is stupidity designed . No boost button . Once u change the temp for little heat it changes the setting of program. Typical German idiotic

Had a Viessmann Vitodens 050 fitted around 6 months ago. After some installation issues it's been running fine although a lot noisier than expected. Download the Vicare app to communicate with it but the WiFi connection with the boiler is useless so I gave up on it.

For the first year after the installation the boiler was great, then the problems started. The boiler is very quiet, but we’ve had constant problems with the heating not coming on, or falling to get above 17c. The Viessmann approved installer has come out 7 times and hasn’t managed to fix it. Viessmann coming out this week to hopefully fix it.

The documentation provided with the boiler is wrong in certain sections. Certain features are not available in certain modes of operation. The response to email queries is poor.

Approved installer abysmal… HUG. 3 engineer call outs. Replacement fan. HUG have instructed Viessmann to direct all HUG customers to HUG first… what a pain. High quality engineers but a week lag between fault and call. Boiler seems excellent… anymore issues though it will be out.

I did a lot of research into new gas boiler options and installed a Veissmann 25kW boiler with weather compensation. I think the product is superb and am very pleased with the way it modulates my CH temperatures. However, I feel the marketing of the product is abysmal; although probably typical of the industry. It is very hard to understand what is being offered. How to distinguish between proprietary and open standards (opentherm) and how to design the best system. Even to compare the two ranges (200 and 100) is difficult. The manuals are overcomplicated as they assume significant knowledge of the system functionality; there is no design guide aimed at the informed client to help explain the options that can be considered if a system boiler has multiple zones. I have selected HeatMiser controls as Veissmann did not seem to offer multi zone modulating solutions unless one installed Divicon which is hugely expensive. I never installed the WiFi interface as I could not work out how to get it working (and your installer suggested it was not worth having anyway). So I give you 5 stars for the product and what it can do but one star for the way you market the product - I am sure you should become the market leader if you could explain how your systems worked and why they differentiate against Greenstar and Vaillant. Also there is nothing for a migration path to your heatpump systems nor any guidance on how these might be integrated in the future. Your website is very difficult to use without prior knowledge of the product range. It could be hugely improved. I am not sure how to answer the questions below as my installer (who is excellent but still learning the Veissmann systems) supplied the unit and installed it for me. The installation started in June (the boiler installation took one week) and I am still waiting for the final controls to be installed; however this is not a problem for me as I am keen to get the details right.

Viessmann were recommended to me, which is a good start, but since installation completion in June 2022 we have experienced 3 issues with the boiler, installed in a letted residence, 2 of which have required an engineer to attend. It's only 6 months down the line, so it's a good job the warranty is for 10 years I guess.

Our new boiler was faulty and the first 2 guys who came out. Did not diagnose or fix the fault, didn’t know the app or the appliance. The app is not intuitive, Wi-Fi conextion to thermostat is poor had to move it from optimum position to receive signal.

Ok, boiler certainly gives out more heat than our 30 year old Potterton boiler did! We would love to know where online we can read how to turn the boiler on manually, we had no heating when you did the updates. Our timer is still on summer time, we would like to know how to change it.

Boiler itself great , the app not so as there is no geofencing available and im told its a paid for option if it ever gets to uk as only available in germany This should be a Basic n free function considering the current cost of living crisis and high energy costs

Great boiler, but the instructions for use are really poor. Really difficult to just set the heating to come on quickly. It is not intuitive. Badly designed by someone who thinks everybody understands. Try and make it simpler please!!!!!!

The boiler itself is brilliant & was fitted beautifully but I’ve been having loads of trouble with the thermostat & the receiver which won’t pair up & consequently the app won’t work. Nobody seems to be able to fix the problem & after 2 months it is becoming increasingly frustrating. Help please!!!
