“The light is just as described. I would not hesitate to deal with Universal Lighting again their customer service is second to none, the light arrived on time and well packaged. “I don't normally do reviews but on this occasion no hesitation. I have not fitted the bulkhead light yet so cannot comment on the product, apart from it looks fine and is the right size, shape etc. However, I was very impressed with the communication by Universal Lighting following my online order. First of all they actually ring you to acknowledge the order, I missed the call but got a very nice voicemail message. Then they sent me an email saying it was being despatched and gave me a convenient two hour time slot/date for the delivery. The light arrived right in the middle of that time slot, inside was a personalised message addressed to me by first name thanking me for my order ! Why can't other companies behave like this, so big tick from me, well done guys.”

“Very easy to install and looks beautiful. Initially put cool white bulbs in but replaced with warm white filament bulbs which looks much nicer. Top class service from Universal Lighting as usual.”

“Great service and especially like the fact that a member of staff called me to provide an update as to when the lamp would be delivered. It’s the personal touch that makes the difference. Delighted with the lamp and the price paid. I definitely would buy from this company again.”

“Great quality product. The customer service I received from Chloe and George was outstanding. Chloe bent over backwards to help me with the choice of colour and style of the shade and when I hit a snag with fitting them to my existing finial fixings George was on hand with a great idea to fix the problem. Universal lighting are a great company to do business with.”

“Absolutely love these lights - we now have them in our bathroom, hallway & sitting room. They are low carbon so meet the latest requirements, which is comforting for us. As to the service provided by Universal lighting this is genuinely the absolute best web based company I have EVER ordered from. When calling them too they go beyond to ensure the best customer service. They are approachable, friendly, helpful & have helped me out with each order actually saving me money!”

“Purchased to replace a similar lamp for outside our porch for which the PIR was broken. The new light was easy to fit, looks very nice and is working perfectly. The PIR operates once it is dusk and activates as soon as someone enters our driveway. Purchasing online through Universal Lighting was easy and delivery was prompt. A nice couple of touches were an email updating on delivery and a letter in the box thanking me for the order. It doesn’t cost anything but I have not received that attention to detail from other suppliers. Well done Universal Lighting.”

“Having looked around for several weeks for Glass Wall Washer Lights, I wish I found Universal-Lighting earlier. “If it were possible to provide six stars for Universal Lighting I would. The level of attention, responsiveness, and reliability far exceeded nearly every other retail experience that I have had. The product is extraordinary, being of high quality materials well fabricated. Though Shipping beyond the UK was out of the ordinary for Universal Lighting a couple of quick email exchanges allow for me have possession of my new lights in 10 days. Remarkable transatlantic experience!”

“The lantern is a quality product. Ordered online, when it arrived it was even better than it looked. It's handmade by craftsmen who repair stained glass windows and it just reeks class. This is to go in porch in a 1930s house and will look fabulous when installed and lit. The reviews for Universal Lighting looked good and indeed they are. They rang with a courtesy call and the product came within 24 hours using a decent courier service. If you are thinking of buying from them - I recommend them highly. They really are good.”

“Excellent service. I initially purchased a 3-light island light but unfortunately could not keep as it didn't fit properly in our new extension. George at Universal was so helpful in arranging the pick up of the light and delivery of the new pendant light. Would highly recommend.”

“These are good quality lampshades. More expensive than I would usually pay but worth it. I purchased 4 in two separate orders. George in customer services was so helpful, patiently dealing with my various queries. Nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company or returning to buy again.”

“I loved the look of these lights when I first saw them although they were out of stock. I emailed the company and received a prompt reply. I then had a phone call and two emails keeping me updated. The lights arrived in the date promised. The sales and product support from this company is excellent with a special mention for Debrah.”
