“I gave a blanket as a present and the recipient loved it. The quality is very good and it feels nice and soft. The colour wasn't quite as it looked online. I recommend the company as the service was very good.”

“Good company with quick delivery. Quality of blankets good but 100 percent wool is always a bit course and scratchy, even when gently washed. Would go for a blend next time for comfort next to the skin.”

“good communication after placing order, and advising of despatch Improvements could be made by advising that the delivery comes out under a different trading name Also nothing in the parcel to suggest how to look after the items, needed to go back to the website to find out. Much nicer to include this in the package”

“I am happy with the blankets I've received although the colours are not as vibrant as they were shown on the pictures. I would use the tartan blanket co again though.”

“Ordered and received three blankets last week.they seem good quality and the order arrived very promptly.however the company are now offering me 15% off my next order which is actually a bit annoying since it implies I could have ordered one blanket and then could have saved money on a separate order for the other two.oh well !”

“goods arrived promptly and as described. One query however , somewhere along the line on the order it said that the information would be sent to the United States......why ?”

“Product, packaging and delivery were all excellent however one improvement that could be made is upon check out. Giving the customer an option to add a gift card message would be useful. I purchased the item as a gift and the receiver had no idea who it was from.”

“I sent a knee rug to a friend. She is delighted with it but I couldn't send it directly as a gift -- perhaps this was my mistake. It would have been nice to be able to send a greeting and to avoid her receiving the invoice.”

Hi Janet, Thanks for your feedback. We can ship directly to your friend if required, you'll be given an option to change the shipping address at checkout. We don't have an option for a gift message yet but can add a note for you, just drop us an email. To combat this we always send our invoices by email to avoid the receiver seeing the price ~Rach

“A lovely, warm, colourful blanket of a good size. The wool seems a little coarse and is not as soft as I had hoped for - maybe an explanation of the texture of 'heritage wool' or some close up pictures would have helped. I bought the Robertson's Hunting tartan in heritage wool. It is exceptionally warm and has lovely bright colours.”

Hi Adrienne, Its great to know that you are happy with your blanket, our Heritage range are made from 100% new wool and are lovely and cosy. They are made here in the UK too and the dyes used in the wool are really vibrant. Its a shame that it is not quite as soft as you had hoped. I don't know if you have seen our care guide for the blankets, here is a link for you to check it out - http://tartanblanketco.com/pages/care-for-your-blanket After a quick run through a cool wash with some wool detergent it might make it a little softer for you. We also stock beautiful lambswool and cashmere blankets if you are looking for something even softer in the future :) - Sam

“The tartan blanket I ordered came very quickly and is a wonderful quality. The design is larger than I expected though so it doesn't have quite the charm of my last 'ancient Buchanan' rug. The checks are much larger and the colours are different, for instance there is not such a warm combination of orange and yellow in this design. However, it looks rich and comfortable on the sofa and my husband likes it very much. It is also very soft and comfortable to sit on.”
