“Beautiful quality - I ordered a large lambswool scarf in gingham check with name embroidery, as a birthday present for my daughter-in-law. The lambswool is so soft and it's washable too, so that's a bonus. It arrived in good time in a protective box, wrapped in tissue paper so all I have to do is wrap it. Would recommend this product.”

“I had to pick the blanket up the post office at the weekend. I have had to return it today as the measurements on the website were wrong . It’s half the size of the website Please see previous e mails The colours were lovely and you were apologetic but I had to go to the bother of picking it up at the post office downloading labels and then returning it”

Hello Marj Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. I'm so sorry about this mishap! As you know for that particular blanket only the measurements had been incorrectly stated, we hadn't realised this until you brought this to our attention, so thank you, we have managed to fix this now. I am sorry that you were disappointed. We very carefully pack our blankets in lovely boxes, however they are too big to fit through a letterbox as I am sure you understand. That means the postal service/courier needs someone to be home when the item is being delivered and if not then they leave a card for you to rearrange delivery or collection. We assume customers appreciate this when online shopping so I am sorry it felt a bother to collect the item from the post office. We want to make things as easy as possible for customers should they need to return items so we offer the online link to a free pre paid returns label. I can assure you that this situation is not usual and not what most customers experience with us, so I am very sorry this happened and hope we have the opportunity to restore your opinion of us in the future.

“Many thanks for the gorgeous baby blanket. It’s a special present for a very special little boy. Last Christmas I got knee blankets embroidered for my family. They are on sofas, beds, rocking chairs and one is making its way to New Zealand ! The blankets are well loved and used and make fabulous presents .”

“Both blankets I ordered are absolutely gorgeous! I have the small knee blanket over my bed as a little bit of extra warmth these recent autumnal nights, but have also enjoyed taking it round the house with me whenever I need some extra cosiness! I haven't used my picnic blanket outside yet due to the weather, but I'm incredibly impressed with the quality and backing. Cant wait to get out and use it!”

“I absolutely love The Tartan Blanket Co.! The company was recommended to me when visiting Hampton Court Palace three years ago and I have had amazing service ever since my first purchase. Shipping is very quick and affordable and all items come packaged nicely, perfect for gifting if that is your aim. My most recent purchase was of the blanket scarf in Auld Scotland Tartan. This is my fourth purchase from Tartan Blanket and is absolutely beautiful. I wanted a neutral toned scarf and this one manages to be neutral with incredibly rich colors that compliment each other. I can't wait to wear it! PS. Please keep coming out with new color combos. A grayish lavender would be great if its possible!”

“Thank you for this quality rug / blanket. It is well woven and edged and worth pursuing having. It sits over my letter recliner in our conservatory and will keep the hot sun of the leather in the summer and is already proving to be a wonderful wrap both in the conservatory or in our main lounge if we wish to hold back on the heating. A wonderful product in my adopted Lindsay tartan.”
