“I bought a hamper as a birthday for my Stepdad, and it was posted directly to him so I have not seen the finished product. However, he was so happy with it - he says the Fraser tartan blanket is gorgeous and all the treats inside were arranged beautifully and were delicious (though he wasn't initially sure about the Irn Bru chocolate buttons!!). It was also delivered within the timeframe I was given when I ordered. I would definitely recommend the company to other people!”

“Beautiful products, excellent Custer service. My blanket ended up being on preorder but as it was a gift for someone who was unwell I emailed the tartan blanket co. and they immediately swapped and sent. Will purchase from this company again”

“I received my blankets yesterday and I am in love!! They are beautiful and so warm to snuggle up with. My pet blanket is the cutest and I love how the embroidery turned out. I chose the Scottish short bread for a treat and it took me right back to being in Scotland enjoying the shortbread while on Barra!!!”

“I have bought both Recycled Wool and Lambswool blankets and the newest round of recycled wool is so thick and cozy. It is my go-to, to stay warm throughout the winter and even resist the wear and tear of fort building by my children.”

Thanks so much for your review Marie-Louise. What you’re smelling is lanolin (or “wool wax”). It’s a natural oil sheep produce that give their wool that super important waterproofing property. We soak all of our recycled wool in vegetable oil to break it down before washing, but for some woolly blankets, the lanolin scent just happens to hang around a bit longer. Our Recycled Wool can be popped in the washing machine on a cool wool wash at 30c so it might be worth giving this a try if airing doesn't seem to help and this should get things freshened up for you. “The Oversized Lambswool (Buchanan Blue) Scarf is perfect for a Gent (that's me!), I dont like scarves that strangle you simply to stay in place! Its super soft and the perfect size! Warm and cosy, arriving in good time.”
