“I bought two pairs of trousers for my holiday,as I was packing them I noticed they needed to be stitched at the seam . As I needed them I had to stitch them myself. Disappointed”

“I have recently received my order and had to return three pairs of trousers. The quality of the material was very poor and I could barely distinguish the difference between the colours of charcoal navy blue and chocolate brown. Also having to pay return postage doesn't inspire me to reorder any more items.”

“The initial purchase via the website was easy and straight forward. The trousers were delivered on time and were well packaged. Regrettably the Robell Marie Paisley Jackard trousers were not as described. The website stated they were a generous fit, Easy, Comfy pull-on design with super stretchy light weight viscose polyester and elastane fabris. The actual trousers were labelled "slim fit" and they were not generous, easy, comfy pull-on design. Having previously bought Robell Marie trousers in shops I was most disappointed to find such a difference. I telephoned to query this and see if the wrong trousers had been sent but was treated with indifference stating they were made in Germany and was just one type. Given the background, my request for a refund of the return postage cost was dismissed as "it won't cost you much!!" My email complaint dated 22 November 2024 remains unanswered. Further on-line purchases will not occur.”

“I have many pairs of ROBELL trousers and have no problem at all with them. These needlecord are lovely jeans, bought my usual size but they got bigger and bigger!!!!! Totally useless to me now! I tried washing them but didn't help. Complete waste of my money!”

“Firstly I never write reviews, good or bad!! I felt I should share the terrible customer service from the person in charge. My trousers were cut too large at least an inch on the legs and was told this was in the guidelines, they would not change or refund and sent back to me, a waste of £50 as I can’t wear them. I’m sure the company could afford to absorb the cost as I can’t.”

“I have bought many pairs of Marie F/L trousers, also Frandsen Jackets direct from Robell. I am very disappointed in my last purchase of Sand Coloured Marie F/L trousers, the material is paper thin and see through, so the colour of the briefs are visible. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE POOR QUALITY OF THESE TROUSERS. I would not recommend these to anyone. A complete waste of money... Do not buy these, you will be disappointed.”

“Very disappointing. The trousers are 6 inches too long , compared to the Bella trousers I already have. I didn't think of trying them on as I have bought them for years without any problems, so because I didn't keep the labels the can't be returned. A VERY expensive mistake, I'll never buy Robell again”

“I have bought at least 16 pairs of trouser from Robell, they were great and are all I we My latest purchase was a trouser called jacklyn in black, after 2 hours wear I noticed my hands, jumper and socks were dark blue where the colour had seeped. Customer services are excellent and the trousers are being returned for a full refund. I will continue to buy my usual range from Robell.”

“This review is for Robell Bella 09 jeans (£89.99) and also the after service from my online purchase. I bought the jeans online as my usual Robell retail supplier did not have the size I needed. I previously bought size 16 but they were too big so size 14 was bought from So Simply. On arrival I tried them on & they fitted. However, just a week later at the 3rd wear the Jeans had stretched and were consistently sliding down needing to be pulled up. I contacted So Simply with photographs of the stretched jeans and they said the style was wrong for me, I should have a slimmer fitting trouser and they are happy with the performance of the denim. In my opinion jeans should not have to be washed after 3rd wear to return to the original shape! So Simply completely dismissed my opinion and refused to even consider examining the jeans for wearability and performance. A prime example of online suppliers not appreciating the customer. Don’t buy from this Website as they won’t provide the afterservice needed if things go wrong.”

“I have purched about 30 pairs of Robell Marie trousers all size 16 over the past few years. Full length and crops, some warm lined for winter and in many beautiful colours. They have always fitted me perfectly. However, I have just purchased Mari cropped black denim. I have only worn them once and sadly had to spend all the time hoisting them back up. The elastic on the waistline just wouldn't hold them in place. I could wish I had lost weight - but sadly no! All my other Marie trousers still stay in place perfectly. I still love Robell but will NOT be purchasing the denim again. A very expensive mistake.”

I am sorry you were disappointed your trousers did not arrive. We despatched them the day we received your order, unfortunately, Royal Mail let us down on this occasion although this is very rare. We chased up Royal Mail as they were tracked and they said to us they still thought they would arrive but we have to allow 8 days before we can say the parcel is lost. We would have been happy to send another pair to you but unfortunately, your size and style were out of stock. We refunded you as soon as the 8 days were over. The trousers were also sent to your holiday home so it was very difficult for you to confirm if the trousers had arrived, although we were tracking it every day for you. We always pride ourselves on good customer service.
