“Bought a second pair of shoes - same style, same size as first pair - but they did not fit so well. Leather very hard and unforgiving, did not ease with wear. Wore second pair, but found them very uncomfortable. Customer services of limited use. Will not buy from them again.”

“I was very excited to read that Sole Bliss make shoes for people with bunions. Sadly however, there is a seam on all the shoes I tried which cut right across the very place that needs space. I called in for advice and two other shoes were suggested - buit these were the identical design to the first two pairs - just different coulours and trim. It's disappointing because I loved the designs.”

“Had to keep the shoes. The return policy is NOT clear. The Packing Slip stated that sale shoes were NOT eligible for return. (I did not see that mentioned on the website). I had ordered a second set of shoes in the meantime, trying to tweak the fit, thinking that I had 30 days to return one or the other pair ordered. When I was ready to send the first pair back, I read on the packing slip that sale shoes were NOT returnable. When I called, I was told that sale shoes ARE returnable, w/in 14 days of purchase, but I had missed the deadline. The second pair fit better, but I had to return them, as I had to keep the sale shoes. I couldn’t rationalize spending $500 on two pairs of shoes. I wrote to Sole Bliss but to no avail.”

“I bought two items. Unfortunately, the sneakers I bought are not comfortable. I had a high expectation of sole bliss shoes, so I am quite disappointed with the purchase, considering the amount of money i paid. I haven't tried the other high heels outside of the house yet.”

“I read about Sole Bliss in the New York Times and was very excited to order shoes for a wedding. I was disappointed because the lack of cushion in the insole was very hard on my feet. The style was beautiful but there was a lack of minimal padding which made the fit very uncomfortable. Areosoles makes heels that have much more padding and this is the brand that I ended up going with because it was more supportive to my feet.”

“I wore these shoes for two days. By the end of the second day I had huge blisters along the outer arch of both my feet, each 2 inches long about an inch wide. I’ve never had blisters there. This was at a conference with lots of sitting. I had other blisters on my toes and had to soak my feet in an ice bath that night due to the pain. I saved for months for these shoes, I’m very disappointed. It’s been three days and my feet are still healing and extremely sore.”

“Found these very uncomfortable. Very thin soles and cramped toes. Because I scratched the soles to make them less slippery my only option is to sell them - fingers crossed... They were simply not first me.”

“I bought the sneakers in 9- usual size, they were huge. Went down a size to 8, too small. I’m a 8.5 in every other shoe except sneakers. I wore them one hour and had to take them off because my feet hurt. Why not have half size? You can only wear them on carpet to return & that’s impossible. Disappointed!”

“I spent £179, more than double the amount I would normally spend on shoes, on a pair of gold leather sling backs with kitten heels as I needed something formal to wear on a cruise. I have a bunion and sesamoiditis and hoped the Sole Bliss shoes would keep my feet pain-free for a whole evening. They didn’t, and I ended the night crippled and in agony.”

“I am very disappointed with my trainers if I hadn't worn them outside I would have returned them. They hurt my bunion on one foot and my toes on the other, I have £50 trainers that are far more wearable.”

“The trainers look great and the leather is buttery soft, but for me they haven’t lived up to the comfort expected. I bought them for a city break, lots of walking. I wore them for a fortnight at home hoping the discomfort across my toes and the very small/mild bunion I have starting to emerge would ease. I wore them for a whole day walking in the city and my feet were very sore across the toe joints (I’ve never had that problem before) and the small bunion was inflamed. An expensive mistake for me.”

“I’m so sorry to give this review but when l received the Sole Bliss trainers l was expecting from all the publicity that they would be very comfortable for people with toe joints. I had my bunions operated on 50 years ago and have never had any problems since. The left foot had become a little sore with the flatshoes l had been wearing for the last year due to a right hip that is waiting for an operation. That is the reason l sent for your shoes but sadly l cannot wear them as immediately they aggreviated my left foot. I realise that l should have sent them back immediately but as l liked them, hoped they would come good but they have not.”
