“Looks lovely really bright colours but only one down side you can't drink on the go because the lid in the calix burns your lip”

“I purchased 4 kids bottles with extra straw lids - the bottles I can’t fault them I absolutely love love the design. Unfortunately I wish I’d never bought the extra straw lids for each bottle as not only my girls but also myself struggle to drink from them - you have to really pull hard for the water to flow up and my 2 and 5 year old really struggle. I got advices to make sure the straw was in the correct position and it is and still we all struggle. So don’t buy the straws; waste of money in my opinion and I would not recommend.”

“Delivery very slow. Arrived beautifully packaged and the flask is lovely looking. Unfortunately doesn't keep food piping hot. After three hours the food in it was warm. The flask had been preheated as per the instructions. The heat seems to escape through the screw top lid, which was very warm before being unscrewed. I had fresh garnish for the top in the condiment lid but this had wilted and was almost mush when opened. Used the flask for a salad and it did keep cold. Dressing in the condiment lid did leak though. The lid seems to be the weak point. I've only had my flask a couple of weeks but see there is a new improved version. Feel cheated that this was on the way but seems like old stock was being sold for the same price. If the new version is improved the one I bought seems to be substandard in comparison.”

“Well first time using it, my soup was ok but not over hot. Next time I'll make it hotter and hopefully it be ok. I did warm the flask with boiling hot water before I put my soup in.”

“I have previously bought two bottles two years ago that are in perfect condition, so would have given 5*. But on the first use of my daughters school bottle the paint has chipped so am disappointed with it as I was expecting the same quality as the previous bottles.”

“The bottles have beautiful designs but the straw lids didn’t work - Sho are sending out replacements but I believe this is a common problem. The normal lid of my daughter’s bottle has already dented too. I’m not sure these bottles are worth the price tag.”

“I ordered one of these bottles with a straw lid for my little boy and he loved it. He loved it so much I ordered a second one. However the straw lid on this one leaks and he can't suck the water up. I message SHO straight away asking for a replacement. That was over a week ago and I have heard nothing back. Very disappointed”

“Very pleased with the design but I’m finding it only keeps cold for about 4 hours even though I fill it the night before and leave it in the fridge. The others I have purchased keep cold a lot longer.”

“I recently bought my first SHO item as I was looking for a great travel cup that I could use for iced coffee and hot drinks. I bought the Calix bottle with the normal lid and I bought the lid/straw combo as an extra. I was initially very pleased with my SHO as it looks great and is a good size. However, I do struggle to have hot drinks in this cup. There is no way to cover or block the drinks opening to the lid so I do worry about it spilling easily, and I find the lid comes off very easily. Additionally, the lid to the cup is made of metal so when it is filled with a hot drink, the lid gets very hot and I have burnt my top lip on the lid a couple of times. You have to wait for your drink to be cool before you can drink it, which defeats the purpose of having an insulated travel cup. I think if they could re-design the lid, this cup would be 10/10!”

“Confusion with the bottle/lid customising service led to me wasting money on a matching lid when it was already included - customer services were very unhelpful and failed to see what the problem was. That said the bottles are fab (confusion was with my second purchase from them) and last really well. Expensive but worth the money if you don't fall into the trap that I did.”
