Apparently problem with fuse box despite sending pictures. Time changed but not notified. Now have a stupid big wire round the house screwed in to the bricks wish I’d never used this company. Other option was to organise and pay for fuse board changes and wait even longer when we’d already waited long enough. Absolutely disgraceful service. Even left with the rubbish to dispose of eg empty wire coils and mess to clean up.

Initial email for installation stated the wrong day, so I waited in all day. I then had to cancel work meets to accommodate the installation. Pod points website does not make it clear that the only way to lock the charger is to buy a key lock during the installation process. The charger is clearly designed so that the customer cannot lock the charger yourself. Having the charger installed last week there is no way to lock so now anyone can charge from my house. This all seems a deliberate money making scam, I would have expecting in 2020 the app would have a turn on/off function, but no. I have phoned pod point and it will be a £170 call out charge plus £40 for the lock. The customer service person said that if you had clicked into the lock and searched through the spec you could establish it was not lockable. This was not obvious and certainly not clear. Ultimately, this is poor design and poor app functionality and poor website design, all by design to charge the customer more money and clearly not customer focused. Pod point have apologised however this fails to protect my electricity supply!

Really difficult to get hold of anyone over the phone, response time to emails is very poor. I made a complaint about my installation and it has been 10 days since and i have not had a response.

Terrible. The contractor drilled an incorrect hole in the outside wall and then filled it with a filler of a different colour! It's not a small hole and I wouldn't have minded if he told me but he kept quiet only for me to find out when I had a look. Complained to PodPoint, but they haven't bothered responding. I wish I had read the bad reviews about PodPoint beforehand as I wouldn't have used them.

Absolutely poor customer services. They cancelled my installation after the time had gone without calling to inform me. This after I rang twice in the morning to confirm. They Sent an email instead. I took a day off work for this. The cancellation email gave me a another date for installation without asking me if I was available for that day!!!!. I subsequently had to ring them to ask for another day. The second installation date. The installer arrive three hours later than the plan visit without calling to inform that he would be late. I called again that morning to confirm The call centre had no clue where he was or how to contact him. Absolutely appalling service. The entire process was very painstaking involved me doing all the prerequisites like sending pictures of parts of the house and wiring. This should be done by an installation team on an initial visit. We’re not all electricians!!!

Very slow response to initial application, very uncelar on what I was paying for, took 3 months from start to finish, my non-standard situation meant the istallation team had no idea what to do and I had to do most of the work. It cost me >£2,500 and I have not even received the Kia discount which I understand should come from Podpoint

Worst customer experience I’ve ever had! Ended up costing me £300 more than it needed to just because I have to self survey instead of someone coming to look.

Refused to put charging point where I wanted Asked the installer “Saf” a question regarding the part p certification he told me to go away in the rudest fashion Also would only install next to meter box obviously fort ease as he clearly wanted to get of the job because one of the first things he said was that he doesn’t want to be there as it was his daughters birthday I tried to contact pod point to complain via email and phone to no avail I would avoid this company if I had the need to feet another charger installed

Installation engineer was great. Overall all scheduling and follow up extremely poor. Unit installed has faults and this was known at point of install. New PCB board sent 2 days later but 4 weeks after install still no one has come to fix. Been sent emails to confirm new install date but all dates in the past. Poor poor process and slow response from customer service.

From the very beginning your service has been a shambles, I am not sure if this is because of claiming your financial side from the government as from the day of purchasing my car to install has taken 4 months. The only helpful person was the installer.

Greatly delayed installation. Engineer did not turn up for first appointment. Had to complete majority of installation ourselves. Lack of communication

Firstly I have waited since November to get a date, then my first date got cancelled. My pod point finally got installed last week and not only was it untethered when I has definitely ordered a tethered unit despite being told I didn't, it was left on the wrong setting so I then had to ring up to get it changed so it was charging at 7kw instead of 2kw. I have started a complaint regarding the wrong unit being ordered and the way it has been dealt with and have had no contact within the 7 days in which it states someone will contact you, which highlights poor customer service. Absolutely awful

My Pod Point was installed almost three weeks ago.Since it was fitted it has not been connected to my Internet so I can not use it properly. I am waiting for someone to get back to me to tell me how they will resolve. For me the easiest thing to do would be to send someone out to see if it is faulty or not been connected properly but it seems they like to pass things around before making a simple decision

It's hard to remember a purchase that has disappointed as much as Pod Point. They make you do an enormous amount of survey work yourself regardless of your lack of knowledge of electrical installation, or the age of your house etc. Much too-ing and fro-ing with emails to finally get an engineer out to decide how to install the device. Then he came, did his job, and the pod-point charger doesn't work! More endless emails (have you done this, could you do that, do this for us again...) and no engineer to come out and make things right. I struggle to recall a consumer purchase that's been as disappointing as this. I spent over £65K on a new car, with PodPoint device included in that cost, and ought to be able to use the thing - it's just junk on the wall.

This has been one of the most drawn-out and painful procedures I've had to go through...worse than having my wisdom teeth. Order placed 19th November, completed 28th of February. Due to lack of updates and responses I had to get our office manager involved which always gets results but usually ends up with blood being shed!

Poor workmanship has left my home walls with holes. Unfinished trunking that’s still not completed weeks after the installation. Appointments set but not kept. One star given as the Homecharge kit is in and working. Given the shoddiness of the whole installation process, I am getting a qualified electrician to survey and sign off and then I’ll get a builder to conduct remediation of the shambles left.
