The Engineer (Craig) who carried out the installation was amazing but the website/portal for sending through details for the installation is awful. It says to send you as much information as possible but after 3 different attempts and several phone call when I was on hold for 40 minutes each time you told me that there is a size limit for this. WHY SAY TO SEND YOU AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE IF YOUR WEB PORTAL CANT HANDLE IT!

Terribly explained about extra payments and slow to reply. Installation on the day (think from Matt) was very good and took time to explain everything in detail.

Excellent product and working well, but time from order to installation was over a month and then installation took two visits and a lot of chasing thereafter 😪 If I could have cancelled I would have, but charger was part of a car purchase package so had to grin and bear it. The second installer was excellent.

The whole experience, from placing the order to the charger being installed was very frustrating. Completed all the paperwork on day one, submitted forms to Northern Powergrid due to a looped supply. Then heard nothing for 4 weeks until i chased it. Northern Powergrid confirmed they had given PodPoint permission to do the work 3 weeks previously. Due to this delay, i had to wait a total of 16 weeks for my charger to be installed. Communication from PodPoint during this period was almost nonexistent. However, I have to say, the engineer who eventually installed my charger was absolutely first-rate. He was very professional and the installation was excellent.

The details of the photos required were withing the order form and the order form could not be saved. It would have been better to have all the instructions for the photos before the form to allow taking them before starting the form. It would also be useful to be able to save the form before submitting. A lot of the pre installation details were relying on the customer knowing where the most suitable installation point and route would be. This was difficult to assess without having a pod expert to ask. Once the order had been submitted there was no way to track the order to see if it was being assessed or how long it would be until someone contacted. The engineer arrived later than allocated slot but it was ok as we had almost expected it not knowing where the engineer would be travelling from. After the engineer had left we tried to charge the car but it kept stopping and the red light came on. We tried several times and every time this happened. We raised a request to fix it and the response came the next day. The remote help was very quick and we were able to charge the car. However, it was deemed that the engineer would have to visit again to permanently fix the fault. An appointment was made a week later and the engineer arrived later than arranged again. The fix was quick as it was a loose wire in the pod.

The purchase and selection of equipment process was all online and very good. Issue was when I tried to amend the order, call centre or help centre I couldn’t contact on multiple occasions via phone, never answered, and via form on web site, again no response on several occasions Contacted the design team and they were able to help but help / sales support were non-existent Also comms on run up to install very poor. But install itself was perfect but no confirmation of date and no reminder etc near the date The install itself was great

James was so meticulous and professional when he installed today . Paid attention to every details and completed fabulous instillation. His after care is also next to none. Critism to booking only. Last minute they cancelled instillation and rebooted for 2 weeks later. Trying to speak to support is a long wait. You need likes of James to work in other areas of the business

When fitted charger he fitted wrong charger with no lock on it then took charger of the wall and then fitted the wright one with lock on it and just a socket on it. I did not like ithis service. Now more holes in brick work. And I do not like that I can not email you and I Tel phone you it can take me 50 mins waiting to talk to some one.

The booking of the install wasn't quite the experience we wanted. to have two cancellations before the final date. The installer was polite and carried out a good job with the exception of the damage on the external render, however, the route for the cable was a little difficult to get the drill from the outside to the inside. maybe drilling a pilot hole first would have helped

It took too long to arrange for eletrical and ground work team to carry out work that needed to be done for the installation of the charging point. Response to emails were too slow.

Service is good once you get through - the queue is horrendous and unfortunately my installations were cancelled a couple of times. But in general, a good turnaround from order to response. The installation was great - Prakash was kind and very knowledgeable. He explained everything well and I’d definitely recommend his service. Thank you Prakash.

The ordering process found it difficult to handle our very rural location and this also had an impact on the installation. The electrician was thorough, cautious and constrained by expectations of the ‘fit’ that were not relevant to our situation. The tethered podpoint charger is not as neat as its untethered counterpart.

It took 3 weeks to install after payment was made, which is too long. Installation was smooth, but insufficient time was given to demonstrate it in operation. I used it immediately to charge my car, but at the end of a full charge the lead could not be released from the solo 3. For 20 mins I tried all the suggestions in the helpline before it eventually could be unplugged.

The installation was problematic. A date was fixed for the instal and when the installer arrived he had not been fully briefed and was unable to undertake the work. After much communication Bob at head office kindly resceheduled for the following day. On that day the instal was completed smoothly although afterwards it took a lot of time to get the app to work and programme the podpoint. I was charged £77 for an extra metre of plastic trunking which was exorbitant. In fact the additional trunking was not used and so I have requested repayment of this sum.Overall the whole process was stressful and could have been much better organised.

The process was acceptable overall. The explanation of what would happen could have been clearer, especially regarding installation options. The installation is a bit untidy with cables crossing other cables/pipes. This was not discussed with me before installing as I was expecting no additional cables on display going to the pod point charger.

The installer was very good. The administration prior to the install, the communication and the final detail on what was required was poor. Installation due to this is incomplete

The installation went exceptionally smoothly with everything was explained by the installer Sadly the initial experience wasn't up to the same standard and needed numerous numerous phone calls to sort out.
