Dissatisfied and not happy. I was charged £230 for the installation which was not informed earlier unitill the date of installation even though i did send clear pictures as to where the connections need to be made was left without a choice at the last minute was told that i had to pay £60 per hour for the engineer. I was told i had to make the payment forst before installation which was to be completed after a week. On the date of the installation no one turned up and i was sent an email saying it was rescheduled to another date and i sent an email asking why it was changed and no one replied back until 5 pm (so that nothing can be done and it was a friday). Its caused me financial loss, distress and inconvenience. Very unhappy and would never be considering pod point in future. (Just want to add the engineer was brilliant and friendly and did his part properly)

Very dissatisfied; you only got 1 star thanks to the super nice chap called Haydn who came to swap over my pod point charger due to them installing the wrong time. Completely inefficient instillation team at your head office who just make us excuses because they haven't done their job properly. My neighbours asked about our pod point, we told them not to bother as the customer service was terrible and useless

Pod Point was recommended to us by our car dealership so we went with them. They told us that our requirements were not a problem and they were quick to take our money. We took all the photos as asked and they kept getting our order wrong. When the first electrician arrived to fit it he was not qualified to work on our electricity system so another appointment was made. The second electrician said the best way to fit it was exactly as we had requested but Pod Point office insisted on an alternative plan that would have been unsightly and impractical. They then put every obstacle in our way to get the installation as the electrician had recommended and we requested, to the extent that we had to pay the electrician to return privately to fit part of it and then return weeks later to fit the charger. The whole thing took so long that we had to pay Pod Point more as the government subsidy deadline had been missed even though Pod Point had previously assured us that the installation did not have to take place, simply placing the order would meet deadline. The eventual cost was more than double the initial quote.

Quick to book in an installation date however the installer didn’t do a great job on the day. Not only did they not have all the equipment which resulted in a follow-up visit 2 days later, they also damaged the internal and external property walls. Pod Point customer service have been aware of the issue for over 1 week and we’re still not close to an answer or resolution. One thing to note is they don’t offer repairs post installation so if your property is damaged like mine now unfortunately is you’re going to have to book in a private repair elsewhere and foot the bill. Overall a terrible experience; much better it seems to buy the unit from a trade seller and contact a local more reliable electrician for the installation.

I am extremely disappointed with the job that was done by your engineer. If I knew how it would turn out there is no way we would have gone ahead. It looks terrible & will certainly need to re doing. The wiring looks terrible, botched together with no regard for my property, effectively it has completely ruined my newly decorated hallway. Very poor level of service & actual results is horrendous for such cutting-edge technology. I think Audi should find /suggest another partner which I will certainly be telling them directly.

I will score 1 for the moment until the issues are resolved then adjust. Unit installed quickly but nozzle scuffed and looks second-hand. The connection to the wi-fi was not completed at the time of installation and is now not resolved by me, though a request for assistance has been made to pod-point. Hopefully, these issues are resolved and the score suitably adjusted.

Never answer the phone, the call back system doesn't work. Unsurprised to find out they're owned by EDF.

I was told and charged for an extra hour prior to installation as extra cable was required. On the day of installation the cable was routed a different way, without the need for extra cable, and it was in-situ within an hour. I was still charged for the extra hour. The engineer appeared to be in no rush to give me back the hour, and was of the opinion that we had booked 4 hours so it would take 4 hours. Contacting the project manager to discuss this matter proved tedious with very poor customer service.

Awful company. It took them 4 months to arrange my installation and it turned out it was approved earlier and all the time they were blaming the DNO of the delay. They never responded or updated me and I had to call in to get any information. Absolutely awful. A joke of a company.

My entire experience of Pod Point so far has been appalling, and I choose my words carefully. From the delays in communication in securing an installation date, to the incompetent initial installation engineer, followed by a charging unit that was poorly installed on the second attempt and pulling off the wall. The app is clumsy, and my charging experience has been inconsistent, with no apparent explanation for when it works and when it does not. Finally the charging unit failed entirely after just over 6 weeks, and I am currently awaiting a response to the fault raised. I will actively encourage friends to stay away from Pod Point.

Initial arrangements seemed ok, but the fitter did not arrive on the agreed day. I waited in all day from 11am until 4pm and got a call just before 4pm from the fitter to say he wouldn't be able to make it. I had to ask what would happen next and how it would be arranged, I was told the job would be marked as not complete and be rearranged, but no timeframe was given. Just before the call I had emailed the schedulers and got a call to rearrange for Wednesday. I could not be there that day but my husband stayed home. The connection was installed and the pod fitted, but when I arrived home it was clear it is the wrong charger. I emailed the contact I had immediately and chased several times and I'm yet to understand how this will be rectified. I have had a response to say I selected a 2017 model but I did not do this, it is a new car so it's very clearly 2022. I was referred to PodPoint from the lease company providing the new car so again there should have been communication there highlighting it's a new car. I've not had a response to this email so I still don't have the correct charger even though I've paid almost £1,000! I would appreciate if someone could get back to me on this matter asap.

I signed up on 11th April and finally got my pod point on 4th July. I won't bore you with the story, suffice to say that pod point left me to sort out all the problems with their contractors even though my contract was with them. I won't be recommending them given the service was so poor.

This has to be one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with, it has been mismanagement of installation. It has taken months to even get an engineer and then I had to pay additional costs that were not specified. They needed to order a ladder to get to 1st floor they ordered the incorrect ladder which I informed them of, the day before the engineers came I was told the latter would be replaced, of course the engineers turned up the next day with the incorrect ladder did the best they could, they then ordered a second incorrect ladder which meant the engineers were unable to complete the installation, and by the way charged me an additional 100 pounds for the hiring the incorrect ladders. Not a company I would recommend still waiting of my installation to be completed. Still have a hole in my wall which is allowing water ingress into my property.

I thought the whole process was wholly uneccaptable. I was informed the engineer would install the system between 8-12. I took a morning off work to accommodate. I received no update from pod point and the engineer turned up at 1pm - I had to then take the afternoon off work. The engineer fitted the point and explained everything was in working order and he left. I then plugged my car in and it was not working. I rang the engineer who explained he would call me back in 10 mins. An hour pass and I tried to call back - he did not answer. I then called pod point who advised me to try my cable in a public charger to check it was in working order - which I did and it was working fine. So i immediately replied to the email explaining this. I received an email back the next day saying my issue had been escalated. When I rang, I was told someone would come in two working days to solve the issue. This meant they could send someone by Monday (installation was the previous Wednesday). I explained this wasn't good enough as I had no means of getting to work. It was explained to me this was the best they could do and I was offered £30 in Pod Point credits (which never came through). This was also useless as I did not have enough charge on the car to get to a public Pod Point. I had to rely on lifts from colleagues, taxis and cycling to get about over the next several days.
