“We moved from England to New England yesterday with our ginger cat, Peter, who is about as anxious as they come. From the start of my interactions with PetAir UK, everything was made simple and clear, so I knew that come the day Peter was to be picked up and taken to London, he would be in amazing hands. We were reassured by the driver who picked him up of the upcoming process, and despite our tears as they drove away, all was well. They sent a text to let us know Peter was checked in, and then we met him at the other end. In what is already a stressful situation - moving countries trans-Atlantically, we knew that our boy would be taken care of. I can't thank you all enough for the amazing service, care and attention you provided.”

“PetAirUK were recommended to me via a colleague who had used their services. PetAirUK were amazing right from the very beginning, which was months before the dogs' travel date, right up until after the dogs arrived. Very patient staff who are knowledgeable and understanding of not just our pets needs, but the owners too. Looked after everything so I could concentrate on our move to Australia without stressing about the dogs. Not very good, but excellent and exceeds expectations. A great team and great service. “Absolutely a fantastic service. We moved from the UK to Gozo on 3rd Dec 15 with our 10 year old bearded collie. He hadnever flown before and I was very worried about him. He normally goes of his food and can loose a lot of weight when he has to go in kennels. I was very happy to see he had not lost any weight at all. When we picked him up at the airport it was so easy and straight forward. Woody was still in the crate when we first saw him and it looked very big and comfortable with water provided in the crate. I would highly recommend air pets to anyone. An excellent first class service.”

“I recently located to Gibraltar and Pet Air UK made the relocation of my dog as easy and more importantly stress free. Their office staff are highly efficient and extremely helpful I would like to thank especially the gentleman driver who collected my dog and took personal interest in her. “The staff at PetAir UK were very responsive from start to finish, answering all of our questions and concerns with respect to getting our cat relocated from London to Dubai. As they took care of all the paperwork, it saved us all the hassle of having to deal with various beaurocratic details and made the transition of moving our pet much less stressful!”

“Thank you Bob and all of your staff for a most efficient and understanding service. Like most dog owners, we really love our pet. Your kindness and patience in answering all of our questions and worries totally filled us with confidence. Oscar arrived in Denver after a 10 hour flight, no worse off for his experience. “The service i received from Pet Air UK was impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Cat who dealt with Rocky's flight to Canada. Rocky was looked after extremely well and was very calm and relaxed after a 9 hour journey. Thank you to all of the staff who made the transition so easy. “PetAir provided us with great service from the first phone call to them in the UK, picking up our elderly dog Lucy from home in the UK and then seeing her safely onto the plane at Heathrow from where she was flown to Houston, Texas on British Airways. We had no problems at cargo and customs when collecting her from the airport as the paperwork was all in order - and Lucy arrived safe and sound. PetAir couldn't have been more helpful, professional and friendly - thank you all once again - using this service made the move a lot less stressful for all! Jean and John Menzies, Houston, Texas.”

“Bobby is a Tibetan Spaniel and he travelled from Dorset to Tampa, Florida. He was well taken care of and came off the plane excited to see us and showed absolutely no signs of stress at all. Thank you everyone for being so kind to us and looking after my furry son!”

“I was really nervous about having my dog fly to New York and these guys were incredibly patient with all my numerous questions and concerns. “Having read the raving reviews and since I'm pregnant and I don't want to risk traveling in order to accompany my cat, I decided to pay the extravagant amount of £1,100 in order to get my cat to Berlin from England. She has traveled before into the UK so I knew exactly what the process required and everything was ready but still PetairUK managed to make the process rocky by not getting the owner details right and constantly sending the information / texts to the wrong person, ie the busy friend that was cat sitting for me. When they repeatedly got it wrong and I complained they didn't even apologise properly, and kept getting it wrong. Even worse when I picked up my cat (on a crate with written my friend's name, not mine...) she was injured, with a lot of blood on her face. She has a deep cut on her bottom lip and other bruises on her mouth as well as what looks like it could be a fractured upper fang. When I asked them, the PetairUK vet said that she has rubbed her face on the crate door... I'm not surprised that this would cause a cut as the gate consists of very rough, poor quality metal. Again, this could have been avoided if they'd let me use my own airline approved crate that I used when I imported her into the UK and didn't cause any injuries. He has not said a word yet about the fractured tooth, which as far as I read can cause bacterial infection to the liver and other organs if left unattended. I am giving it sometime for her to settle to take her to a vet here. Bottom line, for your pet's sake don't hastily trust the positive reviews and dig deep in your pocket. In my experience, you can get much better service for half the money.”

As you can see this is our first ever 1 star review and we are very saddened to receive it. The important thing is that within 48 hours of the flight Lilly the cat is settled in well and completely fine. To us at Petair, all pets have a name and surname. The surname is the owner’s surname and when we first started to help with Lilly’s journey, we knew her as the correct surname, then in the process of gathering more information, one of the owners changed the “lead” surname, so we knew Lilly under a different surname. This had no bearing on Lilly or the planning and as soon as the owner pointed this out to us we apologised and amended the records. We routinely contacted the sitter in UK and both of the owners at all stages, by email and by text. With regards to the fact Lilly had blood on her face when she arrived, different pets cope with air travel in different ways and most are completely fine. Some cats do get bothered and rub their faces and Lilly is a white cat, so any damage she did to herself looked much worse. She was eating again within 8 hours of landing. We could not use the owner’s crate as it was too small and we fly around 800 cats per year in our crates with exactly the same mesh with no problems at all. Lilly is a nervous cat and to try to help her we sprayed her crate and cattery unit with Feliway and brought in a female vet especially because she is happier in the company of female humans rather than men. Petair UK is the only pet shipper in UK to have actual, true, verified reviews and you can see that most people are very happy with what we do. I am really sorry that you have been unhappy with our service and that Lilly did not appreciate her flight. I am just grateful that she has settled in so nicely now.

“Everyone was very professional and friendly in their communication. Everything was clearly explained and they provided a personalised service for us and our pets with no hidden costs. The communication during the transportation of our pets was exceptional and put our minds at rest. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other people moving abroad.”
