“Mine is warped doesn't stand proper, the handle was hard to stay entire, gets hotter outside than I expected, really only 3 star delivery people refused to take it back impossible to assess on doorstep to many pieces, but overall glad I bought it.”

“Bow arrived with an illustration of the finalised unit when built, but no instructions as to how to build and how to organise the wormery. I found your "Building Your Tiger Wormery" guide on a sister company website which answered most questions. I think you should consider these purchases from the customer veiwpoint. Then please could you tell me why my Wormery looks like the accompanying photo with very little gap between the stages, as opposed to that shown on the carton and guide (screen shot also attached)”

“Ordered confirmed for Blackdown 3 bin wood composters on October 23rd. (£645)Website said delivery would take up to 3 weeks (21 days). After 21 days no delivery had taken place, so I emailed Original Organics. I was told they meant 21 WORKING days, although this was not mentioned on the website. I was further told that they were having problems with their supplier, so the wait would be longer. Eventually the items were delivered exactly 6 weeks after order was confirmed. I have not assembled the composter yet, the gardener is going to do it, so there may be an update on this review in due course. I was considering ordering another one, but I will wait until after assembly and assess on a needs basis.”

“Pleased with the product (downpipe diverter) but really disappointed with the non-recyclable packaging. Hundreds of foam or polystyrene 'chips' which will go straight to landfill and stay there for 1,000 years. What's wrong with shredded paper or card?”

“Great cutomer service, not so great a product. Unfortunately, our 600L hot composter arrived broken. A replacement set was promptly dispatched but upon inspection some of the components it was meant to replace were also broken. We requested a refund and purchased a £15 composter from our local supermarket that does the job.”

“I bought a Tiger Wormery. The wormery itself is great so far, but it definitely skimped on the worms and bedding. For the size of the wormery, it should have had around 500 worms as it says they provide enough worms to start you off, and I received at most 30. Most of the bag was dirt and the worms were very lethargic for days. I wonder how long they had been in that bag. Similarly the coir provided only gave about 2cm of bedding (after soaking of course) when there should be at least 4 inches. This is easily fixed by adding cardboard, but the instructions don’t make it clear that you should do this.”

“I purchased a 227lt Harcostart Waterbutt Kit. My fault that I didn't realise the tap was just a standard one that a hose can be attached to. All my existing butts have the fast flow tap as I use with watering cans. It takes forever to fill a watering can with the standard tap. So now I have to buy a fast flow tap which makes this Kit more expensive than elsewhere. As I said I know this is my fault - so make sure you know what you are purchasing! Surprisingly the plugs for the pre-drilled holes are push in only and one was loose in the box so had come out. This doesn't bode well for retaining water when both plugs will remain in as for my required usage. No where near as strong and thick as my older Harcoster butts, better than cheaper butts but still not what they used to be. The Child proof catch is also an Adult proof catch, my fingers are not strong enough to push the catch open and my thumbs are too large to fit in the gap to push. I had to find a piece of wood that I could push in to do the job. Can't coment on the multi piece stand, assume its done to aid delivery, time will tell. I'm assuming that I will need to lay a slab under it otherwise pieces may sink into ground unevenly. Delivery was 8 days which was fine as not in a hurry, box was damaged with a large hole but contents seem to be complete.”

“I just got it yesterday, so it's a bit early to tell. Easy to put together but it seems a bit cheap! But it's together, the 1st bit of chicken s#=t has gone in and ask me again in 3/4 months!”

“I foolish though this shop was based in Ireland. Well when the Web address ends with ie. Anyway the worms came from the UK and I had to pay over €6 at my post office to get them delivered, I don't order anything from the UK since Brexit, they became very expensive worms. I ordered 250g of tiger worms. I recieved approx 50 to 60 worms, was very dispointed I thought I would have recieved 100 to 200 worms. The worms have settled in fine and look very healthy. Beware if your living in Europe, you'll get caught for customs and at the end of the day you'll have very little to show for it. Unhappy customer”

“I've just received a bistro table set - quite nice, but there are a few areas on the table legs where the protective paint seems to be a bit patchy, so there is a bit of rust showing after a couple of days”

“Bought a wormery because I particularly liked the look of it compared to some other versions on the market that tend to look quite cheap. The product does look nice but compared to a wormery I've owned previously the quality is quite poor for the price. It comes with an instruction booklet which is a simple print out. It offers a bit of troubleshooting but could be a lot better. I was disappointed that the layers of the womery don't really stack together, rather they just sit on top of each other so it feels quite flimsy. It only takes a light knock for the trays to move out of alignment and therefore let rain in.”

“The water butt that I bought was delivered quickly without extra charge, with a phone call the day before to confirm. It was as advertised on the website and I am generally very happy with it. However, I thought the packaging was excessive: it did not need to be attached to a mini pallet and wrapped in plastic, not very eco friendly. Also, the product arrived without one vital element that rendered it useless. It came without a bung for the bottom drainage hole. Luckily I had a hozelock attachment that fitted, otherwise it would have been an annoying process of following up to get the small part supplied.”
