“I hesitated ordering a gutter mate during the covid shut down but eventually took the plunge and although I was expecting a bit of a delay on delivery the product arrived with in 7 days. It was as expected but had to look on line to find fitting instructions but was otherwise easy to fit. I purchased the gutter mate as I found the leaf guard in my gutter was frequently getting blocked by moss and I wanted something within reach to catch the moss which the gutter mate does, my only gripe was on receiving an e mail 3 weeks later saying that my purchase had just been dispatched but I presumed this was the computerised system catching up as the workers returned”

“I purchased a seed feeder which was supposed to prevent corvids and squirrels from getting to the seeds. The feeder arrived very promptly so I have nothing but praise for the company. I do have some reservations however about the design of the feeder. It does not prevent magpies from reaching the seed. I needed to fix rectangles of steel mesh on the outside frame opposite the feeding points to keep these corvids from reaching the seeds. I also had to bend and reverse the metal from which the feeder hangs in order to prevent squirrels from removing the lid. If anyone actually reads this perhaps it may result in a design change to allow future customers to improve the ratings.”

“Delighted with our new Noblesse water butt. The rectangular shape fits back neatly against the wall and the sandstone colour blends in. We needed more capacity and it is full after recent rain.”

“Their customer service was atrocious even allowing for Covid 19 restrictions. I couldn't leave a telephone message instead I was directed to the customer service email. I left two e mail messages, neither of which was answered. I have never dealt with a UK based company that provided non-existent customer service. The product, a gutter mate diverter with diverter and filter is, in my opinion, a flawed design, certainly for my purpose. The top of the diverter unit is open to the elements, there is no form of cover to prevent moss and leaves falling straight into the filter basket. The body design acts as a funnel to channel leaves and moss into the diverter for the basket to fill up with detritus. Every other brand of diverter I have used in the past has had a top cover with cut out markings for the different diameter of downpipe. In my opinion the items are not fit for my purpose. The only way I will be able to use these diverters is to make a top, one for each of the three diverters I purchased, or return them. I echo some of the critical comments left by other disillusioned customers. In principle, the idea of the removable basket is a good one but the designer clearly hasn't considered users who live directly under trees. Why don't you make a Mark Two version, then you will have a design that outclasses your competitors. As it is you have a flawed design that merely outprices your competitors”

“I ordered a Wormery in May, during this present covid crisis, and although there were some delivery issues, this was eventually kindly sorted out with several emails from Daniel Baker, who was extremely helpful. I only gave a 4 star because I could not get through on the phone,and from memory, (as I have had to do a few online orders!)the message was not very clear, that I would get a reply.On the whole Well Done!”

“I placed the order for a composter on the 19th April. Received no confirmation and despite numerous emails never received a response on expected delivery. I ordered another from a different supplier. The composter from Original Organics then arrived 21st May, i have sent emails to arrange a return but no reply received. While I appreciate the current crisis is challenging for all retailers I would still expect communications.”
