“Ordered an 8 foot ladder last autumn. A 12 foot was delivered. It had to go back for replacement.”

“Wanted a ladder to safely access gutters for cleaning. The ladder recommended and ordered is certainly robust enough for the job but impossible to erect on my own. It is therefore gathering dust at the side of the house and I will continue to pay a professional to do the job”

Good Afternoon, I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to return the item. Unfortunately, we are unable to take items back if they are not in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition. We endeavour to put as much information on the website on each product with all weights and dimensions there. “Ordered a Hailo 12 rung Profi-lot triple extension ladder. Rang the day after ordering to see if I could specify a delivery day as I work shifts. Was told that it would be at least a week as it had to come from Germany and that I would be notified of the delivery. 3 days later it arrived, without any notification. My wife received the delivery from a miserable delivery driver. The ladder is great, communication could be improved”

“Good, rapid delivery. I found the ladder quite heavy. As I had no helper I ended up using a block and tackle to lift and hold the ladder in position . It is quite stiff to pull down. I am not sure if a little oil would be in order. When I pull it down and the collapsed ladder is vertical, the bottom rung catches in the hooks. I have to lift the ladder and swing it out by hand to be able to allow the ladder to extend.”

“The teams are great, customer service is great. The products are good products, just delivery is intermittent and can come from 3 different locations. Some of the products turn up damaged and it can be difficult getting parts replaced. If the delivery system was better organised then i would have score much higher”

Unfortunately there are only one or two carriers that will take a lot of the items we sell and unfortunately, damages do happen from time to time. “After trying to explain 3 times to the person dealing with my enquiry as well as send a detailed diagram of what I required, the sales person still could not understand what I wanted. After I placed the order it took a call from the manufacturer to understand what I wanted. Bit frustrating to say the least.”

“When putting the ladder together it became clear that two holes had not been drilled in the right place for bolts to go through so I had to drill and file to get these to line up so then be able to fix bottom safety stand bar.Not what you expect when spending quite a bit of money.”

“Ordered ladder with next day delivery, which did not come. Waited another day in case. Did not come. Contacted company to find it had been held back a few weeks but I had not been told. Had to ask for my money back for the next day delivery. Ladder arrived and is as advertised.”

“Prompt easy order & delivery. Unfortunately my builder noticed an imperfection in the construction of the ladders however as it didn’t impact on the function of the ladders I accepted the unit as it was.”

“I ordered a fibreglass step ladder from them. When it arrived, it was only contained in the manufacturers packaging (thin polythene) and as a result was slightly damaged, not enough to warrant sending it back (as I needed to use it) but enough to be annoying. I don't think it is fair to blame the courier. It's the fault of Ladderstore for not bothering to pack it properly. To send it via courier wrapped in nothing more than its manufacturer's polythene wrapper is just lazy and asking for trouble. Apart from that their prices were good and free delivery.”

“Wrong size ladder was delivered one rung shorter than ordered. After sales was good and as decided to keep the ladder was refunded the difference. However paid for next day delivery but took two days and despite being told a refund would be made, nothing ever received.”

“A Prompt response and I did check with ladder store that the Telesteps Mini fitted my situation, however, it appears a bit short as my loft height was at the limit. The bespoke hatch cover fitted but no screws provided and the insulation (fibreglass) is not contained ,falling out nearly every time the hatch is lowered. Perhaps they could improve design with their supplier?”
