I did a 320 hour level 5 diploma. I enjoyed the course but it is only now that I've started a TEFL job that I understand the true value of the course. My employer was very impressed by the diploma but I didn't get any additional pay from it so I was worried that I had wasted all that money when something more basic would do. Speaking to my colleagues, however, I learned that there is a vast difference between the training I received and the box-ticking excercise other TEFL courses are. Many teachers have never done a lesson plan, or anything practical in-person at all and wish they had done a more thorough course like i-to-i as they are completely unprepared for the job. I got my job through the i-to-i jobs board and it turned out to be one of the most professional, and well paid, English language companies in Hanoi with a strong focus on ongoing training and development. Other teachers paid up to £600 to a third party graduate recruitment scheme to work for the same company. Yeah they got a week's free accomodation when they got here but you can get a decent hotel room for £20 a night so they were massively ripped off. I-to-i not only gave me the real training I needed for the job but helped me get one of the best jobs going after the fact.

What an amazing support structure. Best support. Would recommend this learning platform to absolutely everyone out there. Great job! The team at I-to-I TEFL really motivated me in finishing and sticking with my course. I am very ADHD and managed to complete my tasks and assignments with ease of their continues support. Thank you for helping in my new journey in life. What an amazing adventure it has been so far.

Initially I had a good experience with the company. Very friendly salesperson over the phone and everything was explained well enough to me. The course content was terrific and engaging - I want to stress I don't have a problem with that. My issue comes from customer service during the course. I got rather ill during the time I was enrolled on the course and was unable to complete it. I had spoken via the live chat and asked about a refund policy (I had in my terms of conditions a clause where if I failed I could get a refund). This was shot down by the live chat and a screenshot of 'updated' terms and conditions, which conflicted with mine. The woman was very friendly about all of this, but insisted that I must be wrong. So, I'm out of pocket an unfortunate amount of money, and no qualification to show for it. Again, like I said, content fantastic, customer care...not so good.

Just finished the Level 5 420- hr Diploma. I have a BA in English already, a Graduate Certificate in Education and classroom teaching experience, and thought I knew it all. I was disabused of this assumption from the very first assignment. This course is intensive, comprehensive and well programmed. They cover all the bases so thoroughly and insightfully- and the tutors are the real deal… so helpful in their comments . I would recommend this course to anyone. I am a better educator, will be a great teacher for the wealth of knowledge I got from I-to-I. Thank you, tutors, customer service team, everyone at i-to-i . Can’t say enough good things…

I have been a University Lecturer in South Africa, lecturing Engineering Surveying to black African students for 40 years. When I retired, I decided to take on a whole new career path and a friend recommended i-i , after which I registered for, and obtained the 180-hour TEFL Level 5 Certificate. I subsequently registered for, and have just completed the 420-hour TEFL Advanced Diploma. With my academic background I have no hesitation in acclaiming i-to-i for the advice and continuing reinforcement they have given me throughout my studies. Every time I needed assistance from them they have succeeded in "putting the student first" - an essential component of successful Teaching and Learning.

The customer service is terrible and not reliable at all. They tell you that they will fix your problems after chatting with them but they will barely attend to that. I am so disappointed in the customer service.

The support is dismal and I had technical problems often. Trying to reach anyone in charge us impossible. I seriously do not recommend this company.
