“I recently bought a multi tool knife set from gerber and got it personalised with my dads name. When it came it was in a blister pack but it had already cut open been cut open and then sellotaped back up which I thought was pretty poor as it was a present for my dad. I later decided to put a complaint in, they eventually got back to me and after asking me to send pictures for proof of the poor packaging they rang me mainly saying that’s how they come when you get them personalised. I know they need to put the name on them but when u get a present for someone you don’t want it looking like a secondhand gift to be honest I will not be buying any personalised presents from them again would like to warn any others if they are purchasing as a gift not to bother as it looks very very poor!! Was not even offered any kind of compensation just a sorry!!”

“I bought the centre drive multi tool in black with bit set and webbing pouch. I haven't had the tool for long but it appears to be well made and feels robust in the hand. The pouch on the other hand looks ok however the stud fastener is not strong enough to hold securely. The first time I wore the pouch on my belt it came undone when I got out of my car. Luckily I felt it come loose but that was nearly the quickest £150.00 I threw down the drain. Gonna hit Amazon or Silvermans for a pouch without stud fasteners.”

“The knife is great, very happy with it. Receiving it was a nightmare. I was told 4 separate dates for delivery. Which when you are waiting in for something is a real inconvenience.”

Hi Nick, your parcel was sent standard delivery with Royal Mail, not quite sure how you were given specific dates for receipt of the parcel but I am sorry you had to wait in for delivery. We received the order at 5pm and dispatched it with Royal Mail the next day. I think the delay may well be down to us receiving your order in between Christmas and New Year, and the additional public holiday on the Monday - Royal Mail were not working those days so I expect there may have been some backlog with deliveries. I'm glad the knife is good though, again sorry for the delay with delivery. Best wishes, Jude
