The boiler is fine but the Honeywell software is dodgy. There are times when it does not work to the programmed schedule and the thermostat heats when the system is supposed to be off. Also, even when the target temperature in the programme is reached the boiler does not switch off. Following up on this, Boiler Plan contacted me and sent an engineer around, who discovered a faulty part. He said they would order the new part and keep me posted. But I've not heard from them and the engineer is not returning my calls or texts.

The surveyor was very good but the installation team were very slow on response, indeed they failed to return calls or failed to get back after saying they would.

The office staff made so many mistakes sending the installer out on a Tuesday when I said it has to be a Wednesday it was only out of sheer luck that I was available for him. They also gave the wrong price saying it includes a new condensate box but telling the installer to remove mine without refitting. The installer was great though he got straight to work and did a great job.

Initially the process was quick and simple. First installer came and said everything was wrong… and rearranged for another day. Second installer came and although he had all the parts required he had the wrong job card and wouldn’t do the work. The final installer that came was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t do enough for you. Very clean doing the work. Updated me constantly and although he is new to the company he was a blessing to the company.

from making calls to having a video chat to look at space where the boiler is . to coming to install was just over a week very happy friendly staff on the phone and fitting deffo recommend

The initial virtual appointment was good and We was provided with all the information. On the appointment, they confirmed we could have our new boiler installed by the end of the week (this was great as our old boiler had packed up and had no hot water etc). However, this was definitely a lie to get the sale from us, As soon as we signed the papers, they phoned to book us in only to inform us that our installation was not for another 2 and a half weeks. When I challenges this, they said they had a large amount of bookings between us singing our papers… The day of the install, the engineer was very professional, but then informed the boiler he had for us would not fit in our current cupboard housing despite being reassured in our appointment that it would fit as this was the one thing we wanted. We were not offered any compensation and was given the option to continue with the install or delay the fitting (even though we had no boiler) and wait for one that would fit. Despite not being happy, we proceeded with the install where they had to remove my cupboard and now have my boiler on show in the kitchen. The boiler took 2 days to install. On the second day, the engineer arrived nice and early before I left for work but was surprised when I returned from work 11 hours later to find him still there and to be informed that Boiler Plan messed up and forgot to arrange an electrician to come and wire everything in, so the poor engineer had to stay late and temporarily wire in the boiler and was told we just had to wait for a phone call from boiler plan to then schedule in the electrician. Again, no apology, compensation or anything from Boiler Plan. 2 days later, we got a call from boiler plan to schedule in the electrician (which my partner had to book another day off). Overall, I would not recommend Boiler Plan themselves at all, however it’s the actual installation guys who deserve at least some recognition. They install guys we’re professional, polite and punctual and they are the only reason I gave some stars above.

Easy at first..but then when it came to fitting the boiler it was discovered the pipes were too small for the boiler chosen..very stressful trying to look at alternatives on the spot...lads that came to fit it were spot on though they worked late into the day (think they left about 9pm) due to the delay with the mix up at first point of sale trying to get the boiler up and running...rated a 7 just for the fitters because they were brilliant very knowledgeable

Excellent customer service for booking and follow up boiler replacement service. The contractors they sent were also efficient and effective, and finished the job on time and were lovely throughout the process.

They were very good . They new as a landlord and my tenets had a young child, they were quick to put boiler in . Very good clean and safe . Can’t fault them at all . Very polite to talk to. Can’t fault them at all

I was surprised how easy it was to get the boiler installed. I was a little worried about every thing being on line and not face to face, I must say every thing was completed with in a week. Would recommend Boiler Plan.
