One earring lost after 2 days as very poor closing. Earrings are not even 9ct gold. It’s just polished with gold which wasn’t mentioned at all. Very poor quality.

Hi there Sorry to hear that you lost 1 of your earrings. We sell hundreds of these earrings and have not had any issues with the fastenings. I can confirm that we only sell REAL 9CT GOLD and not polished gold! All our items are rigorously checked and hallmarked where necessary. My ORDER HAS NEVER ARRIVED!! The customer service team have ignored all my messages and never replied via both email and Instagram. Absolutely appalling!! And now I am being asked to review as my “opinion matters”???

Hi Vneeta We are a family business and treat every customer and every review extremely seriously. We aim to reply to every email we receive within 24 hours. I can only apologise as it appears your email on 22nd December was missed due to staff shortages and the busy time of year, which we recognise is not ideal. The jewellery looked very cheap. Plated gold rather than being actual gold and felt easy to break. I’m also still waiting for a refund.

They get one star because I very much dislike companies (having given them my business) wanting me to do their marketing for them as well. Hate being hassled by email to do so too. An awful latter-day trend.

I recived a email saying my order was dispatched 10 days ago and it still hasnt arrived. When I contacted company on Saturday to get tracking number they gave me it and said it was in transit but when I went onto Royal mail track and trace there was no information available so unless they have a crystal ball I don't know how they knew it was in transit.

Hi Michelle I see from the Royal Mail website that your earrings arrived and were signed for this morning . As we stated on Saturday Royal Mail parcels are sometimes running a little late due to COVID-19 as well as current lockdown restrictions. We know the parcel left on 16th November (uplifted by Royal Mail) and we are also really disappointed that it took longer than normal but this unfortunately is outwith our control. I was disappointed and upset today at being asked to pay £3.50 for a small standard gift box or if required £7.50 to have the item gift wrapped. As I purchased two items totalling £219.00 I would have expected the boxes to have been provided as a matter of courtesy. I have emailed Eternity to voice my complaint. Hi Ann I have read your review and can confirm we have not yet received your email. We are truly sorry however that you felt disappointment at being asked to purchase your gift boxes/bags. Our Company takes pride in the true value we offer to customers and we do not include the packaging posts to ensure we remain super competitive on price. I do agree however that after spending £219 you would not expect to be charged for the gift box and gift bag. Please email your address and we will gladly post out to you the complimentary packaging. This was our mistake. We posted the incorrect watch due to an error with an image as the one shown on the website at the time of purchase was incorrect. The image has now been removed. We have contacted the customer to explain and offered to cover all her costs incurred and apologise for any inconvenience caused for this genuine error.

Unfortunately Royal Mail are unable to provide any further information except that the parcel is within their network. My partner bought a pre owned gold chain as an engagement gift for me. She paid £299.00. It snapped near the clasp the first time I tried it on at home. I took it back and was told it would be fixed by the weekend. We got a call on Saturday saying the chain cannot be fixed because it was too fine,but I could get a different brand new chain but it would cost £100 more. This sounded very dodgy to me so we went to the store today to see the chain but lo and behold the lady in the shop had no idea of this and the guy who sold us the chain was off till Saturday so we would have to come back to speak tp him about the chain. I think this is terrible customer service. I would advise anyone thinking of buying from Eternity the Jewellers to be Very Very wary.

We are very disappointed to hear that you were not entirely satisfied with your recent purchase from our Eternity Livingston store. There occasionally can be difficult issues with pre-owned jewellery and we are sorry that your 9 carat gold rope chain was, according to our workshop, too brittle to repair. Our intention was to provide you with a similar/identical replacement with as little cost as possible to you. Perhaps it was not explained to you correctly that there is a significant price difference between pre-owned and new jewellery, and the extra £100 was merely the cost to us to replace the chain like for like. I am sorry that our member of staff was unable to deal with your enquiry on the day. Our staff are trained to deal with any unhappy customer at the time ensuring any issues are resolved on that day. Apologies if this did not happen. I understand that you were offered a no quibble full refund of £299 which you accepted. I hope that you will consider shopping with us again in the future. Disappointed that one earring broke within a few hours as the cubic zirconia star fell out of the claw setting. Have emailed about this but had no reply.
