Terrible customer service. Didn't reply when said they would. Never received my order after waiting weeks. Got a refund in the end after I was told my order would not be available for another 2 months.

Made order in November, still didn’t get it On website says 3 weeks delivery, as well it says that you can pickup it from one of warehouses Asked them in the end of December,- been told that will be delivered on January, now sometime in February and I have to pay for delivery Asked to pick up from our store in Nottingham because it hangs there on display,- not possible Not this, no that , sorry we can not do this and we can not do that Still waiting Will I use them again???

I ordered a couple of styles of pendant lights in November. One of the styles arrived and I had to chase the delivery of the other. 4 weeks later the second delivery was made. It was a replica of the first order. I now have to wait another 6 weeks for the order to be completed. Communication with customer service is swift but stock and delivery is poor to say the least.

We ordered a table and chairs from the shop near the Metro Centre in Gateshead in February of this year. Five (yes five) tables later in October we have at last got a table that was not damaged in one way or another. I could not fault the staff we have dealt with but the build quality of the tables we have had has been very poor.

Ordered bookcase & chair may 4th. Bookcase in stock but 13wk wait on chair. Wouldn’t deliver bookcase as that would be 2 deliveries & 2 charges & charge is extortionate at £69 each when Next split deliver for total charge of £8. Bookcase & chair arrived but 2 from 5 slate shelves were cracked. Customer service after initial call all by email and was offered £100 off a £549 bookcase to keep it with 2 cracked shelves, one unusable! Replacement not available. Collection was free and refund received promptly however extremely dissatisfied & disappointed overall

You wait 4 months for an item and then they deliver the wrong thing "don't worry" they say "we'll get another one on order for you, it'll be four months lead time".

First ever online order with Barker and Stonehouse. The wrong item was sent, and I had to chase up my refund 3 times! I only got this after I complained. Terrible experience.

Poor quality product (that was for the sale price) with over 11 faults/ manufacturing issues and was damaged in transit. Stated assembled on delivery on website but it was just left in our dining room by the delivery team unassembled. Apparently assembled on delivery only happens for certain postcodes… be helpful to put that on the website somewhere. Poor service in collecting the faulty table with multiple escalations to persuade them that a HP1 postcode was actually close to London so shouldn’t mean they can’t collect the damaged table for over 3 weeks especially with stores and a distribution centre with in a 40 min drive of me! In the end a week later it was collected (8 seater extending table and all the packaging!). Prompt refund although only for the product not the delivery/assembly charge - but I didn’t have the energy to call them again. Would never buy a large item from them again. The only thing premium is the price. Got a lovely table, delivered and assembled from John Lewis in the end- lesson learnt.

Appalling customer service, sofa arrived damaged, taken away, returned damaged again four days taken off work for delivery etc and when asked for call backs none forthcoming. Would never purchase again

We had 3 lamps delivered all damaged so we had to wait in for 5 separate occasions. For delivery and collections. We asked for full refund after being messed about for over 4 weeks. Then it took us 15 days to get are money refunded. No one even contacted us to apologise even though we logged a complaint.

Disappointing. Ordered an item, paid for it, waited x2 weeks, heard nothing so followed it up several times, only then to be told it is out of stock. Such a waste of time..

Asked to be notified of delivery, but I had to call after 10 days from order date. Asked DPD to leave delivery in my absence. They didn’t & order was returned to B&S. I know this because I had to ring again today.

Because my latest order was placed in June 2021 and has still to be satisfactorily completed after three deliveries I feel unable to make a constructive comment.
