If you thought DHL and Hermes/Evri were bad, wait until you experience APC. Had time off on Thursday to wait in for a lunchtime delivery that was subsequently changed to mid afternoon before disappearing. Literally no online information and I had to 'phone APC to find out that the driver had given up half way through his list because he was running late. Rearranged delivery for Saturday was also a couple of hours late.

Tracking system not working. Delivered 1 parcel out of 3 then said delivery is coming tomorrow. Not an overnight delivery company. Not sure I will use the wine company who use this delivery service, wasted nearly a whole day waiting.

Delivery was when it should have been but the parcel was a celebration cake for a 70th birthday. When I opened the box I found the cake had collapsed to one side with icing stuck to the side of the box. Although the box said keep upright, clearly this had not been the case and at some point in its journey the box had been on its side. Not great! the cake looked a mess.

Apc left card sorry we missed you rearrange delivery ,apc said no such delivery was made ,? I said you think I invented missed delivery card in my post box ,but girl did ring back ,it delivered to wrong house someone else's parcel ??

Had paint delivered .Came home from work to find paint leaking from box . Phoned A P C .We will contact sender ask them to ring you .No call assume there fobbing me off . Very uncaring firm advice stay clear .

I have had 3 deliveries from APC. one was 30 minutes late and the other 2 both said they attempted a delivery and got no reply. Today they tried to deliver at 1811hrs and I was in the front garden at that time. No delivery vehicles came down our road.

Delivery attempted to wrong address and card pushed through the neighbour's letter box so, on phoning the company, it was re-arranged for the following day. Again, I received a two hour expected delivery slot. Once this had been exceeded, I phoned to ensure the delivery was definitely on its way. The person at the office was only able to say it was out for delivery - and she didn't have access to any more info than that. I was naturally concerned that the delivery would again go to the wrong address, so a more pro-active response might have been expected! The delivery eventually turned up to the correct address over an hour after the end of the expected delivery slot.

I was unfamiliar with your company 2 days before delivery. The email saying my parcel would be out for delivery honestly looked like a scam at first and very confusing. Arranging a safe space for delivery was very inconvenient. Especially for someone with a lisp and phone anxiety. I accidentally called sales. Luckily found head offices number who gave me contact details for the local depot. The few redeeming factors were the lovely staff I encountered and that my package came within the slot.

Many people here fail to realise that this is a collective of different local couriers (depots) working under an umbrella (franchise?) so each has a different way of working within these overarching rules. Drivers can be dismissed for failing to follow instructions from the SENDER (i.e. the person that paid for the delivery ) and that as a recipient you cannot change those instructions, frustrating for both drivers and recipients but money talks! When writing a review please name and shame the DEPOT and that will have greater results..... also bear in mind that usually the success rate for deliveries is well over 90% even after a 50% increase in volumes within the last year. Photographic evidence should always be available to confirm/disprove arrival at door and each delivery is geo-tagged so they do know EXACTLY where it went!

Meat delivery I was having some meat delivered, so I looked out for the delivery van, then the van driver went next door to deliver my meat, the driver was just about to get back in the van so I shouted to the driver I have a delivery from APC, you may have delivered my parcel to the wrong house, he said I have delivered it to the wrong address and promptly went and retrieved the parcel and delivered it to my address. The point I am making is that if I had seen the van my meat would have been left on the next door's doorstep all day because they are out working. it is not good enough,

Missed a delivery cant get hold of them to redeliver tried phoning 5 hours on all took the day off work Emailed, Nothing.So how the hell am I going to get my item.

Parcel delivered (16.5 kg) and delivery driver asked politely by my wife to place the parcel in front porch. He refused and left leaving it standing in driveway. Driver was rude arrogant and not helpful at all. APC used by purchase company to deliver ...I will not be using these myself.

First delivery attempt did not leave a card ,second did not ring the bell so did some front gardening during the delivery slot and received the parcel, clearly many others having similar experience. An excellent, detailed informative delivery system not followed through to delivery. Strange Trustpilot not accepting this feedback by my email or Google for APC which often happens with poor feedback for certain of their customers!

Very poor service, filled in and paid for the consignment, then failed to receive the Bar Code address to affix to the package, then received two days later an email saying that APC can't deliver to this address in the UK with Cheshire post code?

They rang my buzzer once and they had already left by the time I got downstairs. Now I have to wait until next week to rearrange a delivery just because they weren't even slightly patient! They also won't rearrange for next day (re)delivery which is a real pain. They also didn't try to call my mobile number which I left with the sender. I needed the package contents this weekend, and it's quite disappointing that I will have to double up my purchase because of impatience.

We have used them for years with no issues. However we had a problem where the driver carded a delivery as no-one home, the customer waited in all day, phone calls ensued but the 2 parcels have not been delivered. Should have been delivered on Tuesday, not there on Friday. The biggest issue is that the Chester le Street depot is ignoring calls from my despatching depot and emails from me. COMMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT. Goodness knows what to do or who to (TRY) to contact to get a solution.

Driver didn't knock letterbox. Phoned APC to complain and customer service said their drivers wouldn't not chap letterboxes. Parcel contained perishable food. Only realised the parcel was there because I had to go outside to see what workmen were doing. When I phoned APC to find out when the parcel had been delivered I was told it had been delivered 15 minutes previously. Is it so hard for a driver to let you know about deliveries made to your door? APC= 1 out of 10

with the covid situation other delivery companys take a photo of the delivered item on the door step for which is proof that the item is delivered if the recipient is not in. not with APC i had to collect the item, pointless really as all i needed to do was re-order as it was free delivery?
