Clicked on a link in an email to use their service. Nothing on the page I landed on suggested a different service was needed for a piano. Placed order. Was called within a few minutes to advise to use different service and refund provided. Caught up in the excitement of the delivery of a piano I booked the piano service not really realising it was far too expensive and I couldn't afford it. Realised almost straight away and immediately got on the chat service who couldn't help. Immediately got onto the phone to customer service who basically stated that the company DO NOT REFUND under any circumstances where they are not at fault, NO customer service, NO gestures or good will, NO empathy on the financial hardship that this is now going to put me in. They will refund when it suits them to make you spend more money but will not if you change your mind within a minute of pressing that button. DO NOT USE!!!

Would not use. Driver was unfriendly and refused to move boxes down to the ground floor claiming I had only booked the move from ground to ground when I had clearly booked first floor to first floor service. He was lazy and rude. When I complained the customer service was unhelpful. I wouldn’t use them again.

Booking with this company seemed professional till the moving day 4hours late our buyers were forced to move in while we were still in the house with all our belongings after 15 are so phone calls to the worst customer service the van arrived a small sprinter van joke to move a 4 bedroom home. long and short of it it took 4 trip s and 4 trip for us with our 2 cars.Load s of things left behind till gone 3 o clock in the morning we also got held to ransom on how may boxes we had even that we said on booking we had more than 50 we had to pay £200.more are else they would walk of the job due to the time and the pure tiredness of the hired work men that any van had employed our furniture and boxes were left any where it was a complete nightmare the lads did there best but any van could not care less about them are us the move cost £1345.00 to move from Heywood to bury 6.5 miles absolute terrible experience that can be confirmed by on lookers that could not believe what they could see

Terrible Experience with AnyVan – Misleading, Overpriced, and Careless with Personal Information I had a terrible experience with AnyVan, and I strongly advise against using their services. I was misled by their call agent regarding the size of the van they would provide. The agent reassured me that the van would meet my needs, which was the main reason I decided to book with them. However, they failed to deliver on that promise, sending a van that didn’t match what was discussed. My booking email clearly shows that I required a Maxi Loader 7.5-ton van, but they sent me a Luton van with a capacity of just 3.5 tons instead. This was completely inadequate for the job and not what I had paid for. On top of that, their pricing is outrageous. I was charged £1550 for the service, which is significantly higher than the quotes I received from other removal companies for the exact same job. I had offers ranging from £900-£1200 for a Luton van, similar to the one they sent me. When I requested a refund for the difference, they refused, going against their own promise to beat any price. After making a complaint and awaiting the outcome, I received a very strange email from them, stating that a third-party company had requested my personal information because of an alleged accident involving a lady and her daughters. This left me extremely concerned and confused, as I am a man and had no such incident. When I contacted them about this alarming email, they casually informed me that they had mixed up my details with another customer. This level of incompetence is absolutely unacceptable and only added to my frustration. I was expecting fairness, especially since they have access to the call recordings that would clearly show how I was misled. Instead, I’ve been left feeling cheated, disappointed, and frankly, quite scared by the careless handling of my personal information. I will be sharing my experience far and wide so that others are aware of the misleading information and poor service provided by AnyVan. Avoid this company at all costs.

To All Concerned This is to warn whoever is reading this review against using Anyvan Ltd for moving in UK. We have just had the most horrific experience with the. They cancelled our order for shifting and storage after receiving the payment and have refused to refund our money. In addition, we have lost all the items which were to be picked up, packed and delivered to my daughter who will be in UK by the beginning of October. From India, I was booking some household items to be packed and moved from my nieces house who is a student to storage till my daughter’s arrival in UK as a student. The customer acquisition team was very helpful and moved really fast. They called me multiple times on my Indian mobile phone and established contact on numerous occasions till the time the payment was made. I also received all the invoices and other documents on time which were completed and sent in a timely manner. The booking was made on the 20th. They were vociferous in demanding payment which I did on the 21st, as soon as I received the estimated invoice. The booking was finalised, with the time and date of pick up given as 8.00am - 11.00am on 23rd Aug. We were told that 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of pickup, we would be sent communication with the driver details and contact numbers. That did not happen. We tried contacting them. After numerous attempts, we got through and were, once again, assured that all was in order. Yesterday, the whole day we have been monitoring the website and trying to track the driver. But no driver details were updated. I even tried calling the customer service on numerous occasions but received NO REPLY or CALLBACK. My niece ( her local number is listed on the contract), who was waiting in her apartment for the packers to show up, constantly tried to establish contact, but ended up waiting the whole day without any success. Nothing was ever updated on the website which we were monitoring constantly both from India and locally. At 1300 hrs, I established contact with Mr Cleon, from customer service. He assured me that the driver details will be updated at the soonest and to give him 1 hour to sort things our and get the stuff packed and picked up. After 2.5 hrs, I again was able to establish contact with Ms Sam from customer service, who then informs me that the driver had reached the location at 0822 hrs in the morning. Apparently, he uploaded some photos as proof. The photos are for another location. He claims that he tried to call the local number listed but received no reply. No calls were received by my niece and no missed calls either. They then asked me to reschedule the appointment with an additional payment of 50% of the booking amount. This amount was later brought down to 25% of the booking amount. I agreed to pay the additional charges. Yet, Ms SAM told us that the reschedule / move was not possible and that we would lose our complete booking amount as a result. This came as a shock to me. How can you be so brazen and unprofessional to just take the whole sum of money when you are at fault? To top it off, at 1545 hrs, my niece gets an SMS with the driver details and a link to track the driver. On clicking on the link, she was informed that the drive was completed. Soon after, she got an SMS that the move has been cancelled. This is clearly daylight robbery. Anyvan has cheated me of not only of my booking amount, but I have also lost a couple of thousand pounds of household items which cannot be replaced. This is to warn all people reading this review not to use ANYVAN for your moving needs. They do not provide the service but will take your money.

Any Van removals guys are great but unfortunately if you put your furniture in one of the storage centres DO NOT USE PARK ROYAL NW10. My furniture was in put in storage in Enfield depot around 4 years ago & about 2 years ago they shut down this depot and just moved all my stuff to NW10 - then advised me after they have done this. They then promised that when I wanted my stuff it will be charged from Enfield where the items were originally placed. For the last two weeks i have been trying to get a quote to have my stuff delivered back to me as it is miles away - prob 1 hour & half away from my home. I have even rang the office a few times & first they couldnt find my account despite taking the money for 4 years & informed someone would ring back - Im still waiting!! Then I rang today & as usually got through to 3 different people in various departments but not anyone that could give me a quote. I have emailled over 3 times asking for this. Have they lost my stuff & I have been paying the priviledge - who knows - but no quote is forthcoming which is really weird. My advise would be find another company to use for storage. Maybe I will get lucky & get a quote to have my furniture back - wish me luck!!

SINGLE-HANDEDLY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH 1. driver arrived nearly an hour late 2. van sent was too small for the goods I had paid to be moved. at least a third was left on the pavement. (and I had chosen to include LESS goods on the day than I had paid for) 3. van in a terrible state, looked like some rough white van from god knows where 4. inside furniture piled any old how, with no protection or restrictive bands and tapes (the driver told me a glass cabinet would be smashed and I was better off not including it) 5. when it became apparent that only a fraction of the goods I’d paid to be moved could fit, I phoned the company. I was told I had not listed two items correctly and had not included measurements; the items in question were a small grandmother clock and a hall stand. On the website there was ZERO indication I had to do ANYTHING but click an option from a drop-down box (the options included ‘grandfather clock’ and ‘hall stand’). If I HAD included measurements the two items still would not have fit because the van was too small in every single way possible. 6. I was left with no option but to pay an extra (forget exact figure) about £160 more on the spot (the whole job only cost about £300) in order for another van to come the next day and pick up the remaining two items. I had to take the items back upstairs and delay my own plans to travel that day in order to be present for the collection the next day. And thank god I still had a night at the property!! 7. The employee I spoke to was aggressive with about as much customer service skills as a pig. 8. While I was on the phone to the company someone else at the company instructed the driver to leave my furniture on the pavement and drive away. The poor guy, who seemed constantly afraid he would lose his job, did (he also offered to move all my furniture himself, independently of the company, for under the fee they charged me; of course, I couldn’t accept as had no guarantee he wouldn’t just take the money and ‘run’ but it says a lot about the loyalty this company inspires in their employees…) He was then told to come back about five minutes later once I had paid. 8. the delivery, in lieu of my presence, was received by my elderly parents. It was nearly five hours late and arrived at midnight. Zero updates were given and we only got nonsensical replies when we tried to contact the driver 9. I complained to the company and was assured by two young men (who turned out to be absolute wastes of space and lied through their teeth) that a complaint would be logged and I would be contacted about the ‘resolution’. All seemed pretty pointless but I thought the whole thing was so disgraceful and shoddy I did log the complaint 10. next day remaining the remaining two items were delivered - four hours late. With ABYSMAL lack of communication from driver. 11. I never heard a word about the resolution of my complaint. 12. A month later I phoned the company and spoke to manager. He accepted that the website is unclear, customers cannot be blamed for failing to provide measurements if they can see no indication that they should, and refunded the extra £160 I paid 13 The stress caused a rheumatoid arthritis flare up that I am still suffering from 6 months later. AVOID. AVIOD. AVOID.

I used Anyvan for my move, I wanted my heavy items moved as I couldn’t really lift. After looking at reviews I decided to give them a try. Well I will never use them again, the 2 cowboys that came to move my stuff were very careless, they damaged the kitchen floor of the rental I was moving out of, when they moved my fridge freezer, they also damaged my fridge freezer at the back. They damaged my chest of drawers at the back and I noticed a few weeks after I moved in to my new place that the wardrobe they moved had big scratches on the top, when we were putting it back together. Looked like it had been dragged, to get the scratches it had. They denied everything saying it wasn’t them that caused the damage, but said the floor could have been damaged while the fridge freezer was moved. That had turned up really late too, we were expecting them between 9am and 12 noon and they got to my place at 5.45pm and they said it had been a long day for them, most likely they were tired too. AnyVan offered me £25 as a gesture of goodwill, I thought that was a very insulting offer to say the least. I’m sure not all the moving guys are dishonest, but these 2 were and it’s put me right off the company for any future moves I do. I’m also sure they can do a good job with moving items, just as long as they don’t damage anything and then deny it. Anyvan has a bad customer service, for being dishonest, in my opinion.

Please read the reviews on this page before booking - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. We booked two drivers for our move day but only one turned up and over 2 hours late from the end of the booking period. Once the driver arrived, his boss called to tell us we would need to pay £60 extra cash in hand because we have a lift in the building and we didn’t put this on the form. When I refused to pay, the driver said he’d leave my belongings on the street. He was really aggressive and unprofessional. This company works with self employed drivers and for the looks of it, they don’t care what kind of people they are. No other company would hire someone who threatens a customer. Myself and my partner had to help the driver for hours to move all our stuff. It took hours to move and we finished moving by midnight! I requested a refund but they refused to provide the whole refund because I didn’t say that the building had a lift and I had a chair and a lamp to be moved too, which is ridiculous. Please stay away from them if you want a hassle free moving day. You’ll end up doing most of the work yourself and pay hundreds for it.

Anyvan is a scam - Avoid! Anyvan is a scam - with 0 customer service. The movers refused to deliver the sofa. Absolutely 0 customer service.. they will make you pay again to rebook movers. They pretended a mistake in the floor number and refused by all means to press the button on any other floor, without rebooking and paying for another delivery. Customer service is non existent and had absolutely no interest in helping, except pushing me to do a rebooking (which I would have to pay for, of course). My sofa didn t get delivered and they took my money. Absolutely a joke and scam. Avoid by all means. (The person I spoke to over the phone was supposed to send me an email with contact details to make a claim.. but they conveniently forgot).

I had a 2 hour slot booked and they arrived late, but here's the rest of my experience: The drivers arrived rude, grumpy and complaining about the walk from my flat to the van, claiming that the walk was 100 metres (it wasn't even close to that). They then proceed to start removing taking some parts of a bed out of the flat, and then disappeared for over 20 minutes. There's 2 bits of walking, from flat to elevator (30 paces) and from the building door to van (50 paces). During the time they were gone I took the following from the flat to elevator: Big chest of drawers (no idea how I managed it on my own) Other chest of drawers Book case/shelving unit TV stand Coffee table Desk Office chair All sofa cushion 2x mattresses All 20+ boxes & bags Sofa (with a friend) TV (with a friend) After 20 minutes on the phone to customer service I had to pay an extra £58 on top of the £290, when there was no ask or section mentioning the walk to the van, bearing in mind you can't always get a van right outside, so not sure what was expected. On the other side myself and my friend then helped them as I was made to feel bad it had taken about 4 hours when it should have taken much less. I sent videos to AnyVan showing what I had carried out, the distance they were complaining about (I did the same move in with my 60 year old Dad 5+ years ago). I had zero gratitude from the grump miserable movers, despite making their job easier than if there was no walk to the van. What was I offered? £36 credit to my AnyVan account. Luckily I have prevented 2 friends who are also moving from using this company hopefully this review will make you go elsewhere.

Extremely bad experience. Be warned, the booking process is very misleading and asks you to select images of the item types being moved. I chose boxes and chairs, chose an additional person to assist and paid extra to have items delivered to a 1st floor location. An agent turned up on the agreed day and immediately said he was there to collect one chair and one box for £100 (with an assistant!). When I questioned this, they got head office to call me who said that to get a bigger van to me would incur a 50% penalty and to cancel would cost me £100! Total misleading rip off from start to well rehearsed finish

DO NOT USE THIS REMOVAL SERVICE. They charged me for boxes and packing and then would not refund me when the drivers turned up without the boxes. I couldn’t complete my move. They do not have their own drivers / employees. They put your details up on a platform for any person with a can to do. They have no idea who is coming in your home and cannot guarantee the safety and care of your possessions. They also only pay the drivers a fraction of the fee you pay. Utter cowboys.

I would give 0 if I could! Firstly, they came with almost full van and they have to do 2 trips. It was very stressful and inconvenient. They know exactly what we requested to be delivered but they didn’t have enough room in their van! Very unorganized! This is last thing you need when you already stressed about moving house. They don’t care! Secondly, they damaged my new house wall and staircase post! They had my standard single wardrobe which shouldn’t be so challenging to 2 men but when they lifted it up they scratched the wall made dents all around it and I literally saw with my eyes that they almost knocked my stairs post off! It moved! Scratched and stuck there so I had to help as they suggested they need more strength to lift it up higher so they can lift it upstairs! So I helped them it was done. They just need more strength or work less so they can manage lifting things properly. The damage was caused before I helped them but now I’m in process of claim damage the answer I got from their company was I don’t get any compensation because I helped. It is a trap they use to their customers! Be careful if their staff ask you to help don’t! But it is difficult as it might damage more to your house as you can imagine it was stuck and putting strength on your wall and staircase post as they didn’t manage it well. Finally, I complain about all this but simply their reply was not to do anything as I helped. But the damage was caused before I helped! This is their conclusion: 8.3 Neither AnyVan nor its Partners are liable for: Should you decide to help the Partner with the moving, packing, loading or unloading of any goods, or travel with the Partner in a vehicle, you do so at your sole risk and the Partner shall not, nor AnyVan, be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of such actions. We apologise for any inconvenience that has been caused. I will raise my complaint to ombudsman but I need them to say this is their finally decision. But they don’t reply!

Rated 1 out of 5 stars Horrible and awful experience I booked Anyvan for my complex move after talking to the sales guy (Harry). We were moving from London to Liverpool with multiple drops. I did a video call with Anyvan (Harry) - I pointed out exactly what I had to move, including a lot of large pictures. Harry was proactive and got back to me very quickly. The quote should have been accurate because Anyvan had seen what I was moving. Due to unforeseen personal circumstances (quicker completion at buyers request, death of my father and my arthritic hip packing in) I had to take the pressure off and decided to opt for the premium packing service (having packed a considerable amount of my stuff myself already). Thankfully I had. I also had a holiday booked the week before the move. I had numerous calls with very polite phone operatives - I was given incorrect and conflicting info, incorrect pricing (overcharging me twice) and they failed to call me back as promised. Every time I called them, I had to go through the whole saga again. They kept trying to upsell. They didn’t seem to be knowledgable and apart from one lady (Lungi) didn’t actually take ownership. I suspect this is due to the set up / business model they are working under. After each interaction you’re asked for feedback. I could not fault how polite they were. Perhaps that’s how Anyvan have got so many good reviews…. In desperation, I called Anyvan (from my holiday) and asked Harry - the original sales guy to call me back. He did, he’d seen my case and apologised and promised to fix all. We changed the plan so that my house would be packed on 19 June and everything moved on 20th. Polite packers arrived on 19th, packed 30 boxes and told me they had another job to go to. I could no longer reach Harry in sales on the number he gave me and he never called me back. I spoke to Lungi. After the usual spiel she understood my situation but I did have to freak out on the phone and tell her about my father, hip etc to get her listening to me. She promised to sort out. The next day Valantino and his team arrived. They were polite, friendly, efficient and proactive. They worked tirelessly all day. The sale completed at 09.30am but we didn’t leave the house until 3.30pm. Thankfully the buyers were understanding, although keen to get in. We then drove 250miles and met the team up there. They unloaded items into container storage and at temp accommodation. They finally finished at 11.30pm. Nothing was too much trouble, they were tired but smiling at the end when they left for their drive back. Valantino and his team were great and really saved the day, along with Lungi. However, in spite of what they did, I have never had such a terrible, stressful experience in my life. Anyvan were absolutely awful. I have never had to write such a shocking review. I suggest the owner of Anyvan reads my case and does something about continuity of staff on the phone, training etc etc. I am yet to check the final bill. I will revert if that’s incorrect. Fancy paying for a premium service and receiving endless buckets of stress! Anyvan might be good for straightforward moves but for mine they were appalling. If I could, I would give no stars. Jo

AnyVan: A Nightmare on Wheels - Avoid at All Costs! Rating: 0 stars (if I could give negative stars, I would) If you value your sanity, time, and belongings, stay far, far away from AnyVan. My experience with them was nothing short of a catastrophic disaster that left me questioning the very existence of professional standards in the transport industry. From the moment I booked, it was clear that AnyVan's idea of "service" is a cruel joke. They promised a pick-up slot, then ghosted me entirely. When I finally got through to them after what felt like an eternity on hold, I was told to chase the driver myself - because apparently, that's what I'm paying them for! The day of the move was a comedy of errors, minus the comedy. First, I was told the driver was in the hospital. Then, miraculously, the "sick" driver called to say his van was broken. The lies were so blatant, I half expected them to claim their dog ate my booking. After hours of silence and ignored calls, they finally deigned to reschedule - for midnight! Yes, you read that right. MIDNIGHT. Because nothing says "professional service" like waking up an entire neighborhood in the dead of night. The cherry on top of this disaster sundae? When I rightfully complained, they offered a laughable 10% refund. That's right, folks. AnyVan thinks that compensation for their utter incompetence, lies, and complete disregard for customer service is worth less than a cheap meal deal. Their customer service is an oxymoron - there's no service, and they certainly don't care about customers. They're experts in buck-passing, excuse-making, and shoulder-shrugging, but when it comes to actually doing their job? Utterly clueless. Save yourself the headache, the heartache, and the desire to scream into the void. You'd have better luck strapping your belongings to a herd of drunk donkeys than trusting AnyVan with your move. They're not just bad - they're impressively, innovatively terrible. In conclusion, if you're considering using AnyVan, do yourself a favor: don't. You'd be better off attempting to move house using nothing but a skateboard and a bit of string. At least then, when everything inevitably goes wrong, you'll only have yourself to blame. UPDATE: I'm now in the process of initiating a chargeback claim through my credit card company and exploring legal avenues to recoup my losses and seek proper compensation. The fact that I've had to resort to these measures speaks volumes about AnyVan's inability to resolve issues and take responsibility for their abysmal service. Potential customers, consider yourselves warned: using AnyVan may lead you down a path of financial and legal headaches on top of their already atrocious service.

I chose AnyVan based on a mixture of price and reviews. Booking reference AV 829 0796 The initial phase went well, I was contacted by an agent, and we spoke at length about what to expect and asked me to fill out the inventory list on-line. Based on the size of our property he estimated how many boxes we would need, and I bowed to his expertise. Communication continued to be good, and I was asked to review my inventory list, which I did, adding a couple of bits and paying the extra. The first thing that went wrong was when I noticed that wardrobe boxes had not been factored. I chatted on-line with a help agent who said I could add them, but it may affect the price, or the size of the van needed. On our inventory, I listed 3 x double and 1x single wardrobe. Surely this would indicate that we have clothes? I questioned this with the chat person, and he suggested I call the agent which I did to add these. If I had not noticed, what would have happened on the day, and would I have been charged extra as I forgot to add these? They are the experts here. On the day, the team arrived on time at 9am and I started to feel concerned as the first thing the team leader did was produce the inventory list and worked through the house to find all of the items. It seemed a little officious and I wondered what this might be leading to. Well, I was soon to find out! As we toured the house, he would clearly have seen the amount of things that needed moving, he did not mention this as being a problem at this stage. We had also been helpful and had pre-packed some of our things in crates, even though we were paying for the premium service of our things being packed by the AnyVan team. At around 11.15, when many of our items were on the van, I was informed that there was a problem, and we would need more boxes and would need to pay for them. I have to be honest, I got really stressed at this news and said I would speak to AnyVan. I got through to the call centre and spoke to a lady who was incredibly unhelpful and unsympathetic to my plight and repeated over and over that the service was inventory based. Well, I had completed the inventory, and it seems that the tactic is to quote low and add extras on the day. The standpoint seems to have been that we would not have anything in cupboards or under beds. Anyvan ordered the quantity of boxes, not me. I really was stressed, and we were wasting time, so I reluctantly agreed to pay, and that payment was made for an extra £142.02 at 12.05. Things got far worse. At around 2pm I was informed there was a problem and this time it was much bigger! I was again subjected to the dance of you need more boxes and this time was presented with a bill of an extra £585.02 plus £140 for more boxes. I insisted that he confirmed that this would be the final price, he agreed it would be and I made him walk around my property to ensure that he meant it this time. The vans were not sufficient in size to pack comfortably, so the packing took much longer than expected, delaying our exit. Our plan was to clean our old property that late afternoon/evening in preparation for handing the property back. Instead, we had to come back on Sunday, wasting valuable time that could have been spend sorting out our new house. The team had to leave some items behind as they could not fit in on the van (they collected the next day, left in our alley and garden shed) and when we did a final sweep of the house before we left, we saw that some cupboards had only been partially emptied, so we had to fit this in our car The team could also have shown more care when lifting items down the stairs, they left several scuff lines down the stair walls. The delivery day went better (I was fearful there would be more extra charges), but the issue was that most of the day it was a team of just 2 men, so the unloading took a very long time, not leaving our new house until approximately 6pm. As stated at the start, the team worked very hard, and I recognised that with a generous tip for their hard work alone. Moving is meant to be one of life’s great stressors, well this was elevated to a whole new level by Any Van. I feel exploited, ripped off and 'played'. I contacted Any Van before writing this review and got the rsponse that is inventory based, extra charges on the day are non refundable and tough basically! I then pushed back and they have subsequently refused to reply to any correspondance until I escalated. We have moved several times and although it is always a bit stressy, this was just awful. We would never use or recommend AnyVan ever again and would urge anyone reading this to think carefully before using any inventory based service based on our truly appalling experience.

Avoid this company. They suck. Classic case of pay peanuts, get monkeys. Most importantly, be aware that you can't travel in the van with them. Totally screwed me over. Left me in a massive hole, huge knock on issues for my elderly, seriously ill mum. They're a bad lot. Use anyone but them
