I can't answer to the quality of the tree since it was for a friend, and I have not seen it, but it was very odd to have the accompanying card delivered a day before, which spoilt the surprise somewhat. The card seems to have been handled as a separate order. If I had wanted to send a separate card, I would have purchased one independently and posted it.
