Booked an audiology test at my local surgury because I had a very bad experience 10 years since at another supplier.
Chap was quite polite, told me I needed two hearing aids and they would be fitted in three weeks. Showed me the audio gram.
NO OTHER INFORMATION SUPPLIED at this meeting. When I got home I called the main contact number and asked for a copy of the audio gram.
It was emailed to my correct email address but the email introduction was to someone entirely different. Not impressed.
Also the audio gram only has my name , with no other reference, no nhs number, no date of birth. When I presented this to my (then go) he was not impressed, nearly all nhs graphs scans etc etc carry name and dob as a minimum.
I will go back for the fitting appt, but I am not happy as after talking to my go I understand that I can no longer be referred to audio services at a hospital the referral has to go to spec savers, and their personnel have lied to me previously about both optical and aural issues..
Not a happy customer, but going to have to give them another go. We shall see.
