I bought my first pack of Own Brand Replacement 079 cartridge high capacity 6 pack to replace Epson brand as they have been discontinued and was I concerned that the inks woud not mix with the tail end of my Epson ones. I have an Epson Photo Stylus 1500W A3 printer which took them without any issues. I checked the ink supply levels and found that the two new own brand cartridges (Light cyan and light magenta) showed a level one fifth less than the Epson high capacity inks still in the machine (see attachment). I queried this and was told that the Own brand inks do not register supply levels accurately and it was confirmed that I do have 'high capacity' inks which would be the same as the Epson. This is the reason why I give four stars as otherwise I would give 5. Time will tell how the new inks perform but I am happy that I have found inks which are about half the Epson price and print with the same quality.
