I had chemo a few years back and as a middle-aged female, the thinned hair on my scalp was disturbing. I was using a direct marketing product, promoted by a friend. It helped mostly with breakage, but ultimately the company's customer service ruined all positive feelings. They refused responsibility for their own mistake, until I threatened to report it to the bank and BBB.
I've gone through 2 bottles of Hairguard Caffeine Shampoo in about 5 months. I only wash my roots since my hair is long; I use it every other day, alternating with conditioner (not on roots) on the off days, and I definitely not use hot water!
By the end of the first bottle, I started to see short strands of new growth along my hairline! By the end of second bottle, those strands are still there and longer. I don't think I had new growth in ages! My scalp is less visible.
I'm so happy to have any progress, but the reason I'm writing this is the customer service. Due to this crazy supply/shipping times of 2022, Hairguard sent me an email that the US is out of product, and there will be a delay. Sarah R. of Hairguard and I, then spent a short time ping-ponging email on how they could best help me. She wrote me everyday, never getting upset if I had questions that were pedantic. I felt like I was her only customer. THAT is worth writing about! In the end of it all, Sarah will be the reason I'm staying with Hairguard instead of searching for a US-based competitor. I'll just sit tight and wait for my 3rd bottle of Caffeine Shampoo (and maybe consider the elixir).
