Wavelength is a social guessing game in which two teams compete to read each other's minds. Teams take turns rotating a dial to where they think a hidden bullseye is located on a spectrum. One of the players on your team — the Psychic — knows exactly where the bullseye is, and draws a card with a pair of binaries on it (such as: Job - Career, Rough - Smooth, Fantasy - Sci-Fi, Sad Song - Happy Song, etc). The Psychic must then provide a clue that is *conceptually* where the bullseye is located between those two binaries. For example, if the card this round is HOT-COLD and the bullseye is slightly to the "cold" side of the centre, the Psychic needs to give a clue somewhere in that region. Perhaps "salad"? After the Psychic gives their clue, their team discusses where they think the bullseye is located and turns the dial to that location on that spectrum. The closer to the center of the bullseye the team guess, the more points they score!

Played this initially as a free online game during the pandemic, loved it so much I bought the full boardgame. Really quick and easy to understand, usually gets a lot of laughs.

What a brilliant game for a party. Firstly there is pretty much no number limit as you work in teams, it takes about 30 seconds to explain the rules, it gets everyone involved and results in plenty of laughter and discussion. Set up takes seconds and the game is fast paced. It also sucks in those who would usually scoff at playing a board game. The only downside is that you do reallyneed at least 6+ people but it is a party game. If you have less than 6 people at your party, it isn't a party.

I love this party game. It has created so many laughs as you try and find the ‘wavelength’ of the person asking the question. The production is also great, it feels like a game show in your living room!

A good game to play with 'non-gamer' family members. Fun and entertaining. I found it less 'stressful' thinking of clues for this game than for Codenames.

A great game for larger groups when other games are capped out at 6 or 8. Feels satisfying to win.
