“Finally an expansion of Wingspan that allows for a great solo/duo player game. I usually play Wingspan with just one other person and this has really changed that gameplay for the better. The cards are beautiful, as you'd expect from the series. This is a great addition to anyone's collection.”

“Brilliant standalone game. Perfect for two! Small enough to take on holiday to satisfy our Wingspan needs :) Gorgeous imagery and tokens, as with the base game and two expansions. Complex enough for us to keep playing time after time. Elizabeth Hargrave is a game-designing genius!”

“We have every expansion so far, due to standalone element. This one is different, although not as keen on all the bird powers as previous expansions, still enjoying the variety and looking forward to having a go at the standalone format.”

“I was expecting just a load more bird cards, what a pleasant surprise to discover a 6or7 player expansion, a specifically 1 or 2 player mode and more bird cards. Although i appreciate the addition of the 6or7 player mode, I don't think I will ever play it - 5 players takes long enough to play a full game, i can only dread how long much longer it would take with more players. The expansion does include some amendments so that it should go faster, but I'm still not sure. However the addition of 1or2 players is excellent, it introduces an additional way to obtain resources (food, eggs and cards) which makes the game go more smoothly and takes away the initial issue of not being able to do very much at all. The artwork is beautiful as always. Sadly it now doesn't all fit in the base game box....... Might have to get the Nesting Box (when it is re-printed)... but its not cheap! great game”
