"Are the stars unfamiliar here?" she asked, and the sky grew suddenly dark, the star's patterns alien and exotic. "This is the Wandering Sea. The gods have brought you here, and you must wake them if you wish to return home."

In Sleeping Gods, you and up to 3 friends become Captain Sofi Odessa and her crew, lost in a strange world in 1929 on your steamship, the Manticore. You must work together to survive, exploring exotic islands, meeting new characters, and seeking out the totems of the gods so that you can return home.

Sleeping Gods is a campaign game. Each session can last as long as you want. When you are ready to take a break, you mark your progress on a journey log sheet, making it easy to return to the same place in the game the next time you play. You can play solo or with friends throughout your campaign. It's easy to swap players in and out at will. Your goal is to find at least fourteen totems hidden throughout the world. Like reading a book, you'll complete this journey one or two hours at a time, discovering new lands, stories, and challenges along the way.

Sleeping Gods is an atlas game. Each page of the atlas represents only a small portion of the world you can explore. When you reach the edge of a page and you want to continue in the same direction, you simply turn to a new page and sail onward.

Sleeping Gods is a storybook game. Each new location holds wild adventure, hidden treasures, and vivid characters. Your choices affect the characters and the plot of the game, and may help or hinder your chances of getting home!

Welcome to a vast world. Your journey starts now.

Wow. If you're into TTRPG's or story based games in general, please give this a try! My partner and I were blown away by the amount of content in this game. The art, atmosphere, and gameplay are very unique and very enjoyable, as is the writing. I can see myself putting hundreds of hours into this, it hasn't left our tabletop since we first opened it over a week ago.

Only played one session so far. A very fun experience and hoping once we get used to the game flow we can be a bit better at it.

This is a really incredible campaign game. The box is jam packed with content and you really feel you get your money’s worth. While this is a pricier game, if you have a regular group or if you just play solo then this will be a real treat.

We've only just started on this but it is perfect for what we wanted ... a collaborative adventure with maps and gorgeous cards and artwork for it all. The map book is such a clever idea. It's not too overdone with types of pieces and cards though we are tempted to swap a ten sided dice instead of drawing ability cards to get the number each time (has to be ten to get probabilities right)

Ive just started my campaign but im totally enjoying it. The game is lovely to look at and the core mechanics are quite simple. The narrative aspect is handled very nicely and you really do get a sense of a story unfolding. It does take up a lot of room on the table but there seems to be a LOT of content to play through. Ive played 2 sessions so far and have barely scratched the surface of the game. The game has a sort of Fail forward mechanic where the only way to really lose is to have your crew die. Overall, very good fun (reviewing solo play...jumping to other play numbers is very simple, just a matter of sharing control of the crew among the players). Saving the game is basically just a matter of placing each crew board in the provided baggies with the current attached cards/tokens.

A tonne of content to explore, high-quality production values, engaging open-world style theme, works really well as a solo game but players can drop in and out throughout a campaign. Takes up a lot of table space and if you can leave it out between games this saves a lot of hassle. Highly recommended.
