“Clank is a great game of deck building. You collect cards that allow you to explore the caves below the surface but the deeper you go, despite more valuable the treasure, the harder it is to get out alive. The tension of the dragon getting more and more irate as more noise is made really adds an exciting energy to the game. Highly recommend.”

“A brilliant deck building game with a nice push your luck element. You want to go deeper underground to get better and better treasure but if you stay down too long then you can lose everything.”

“Clank is a brilliant game where you are building a deck to enable you to sneak around the dungeons to grab the best treasure before the dragon awakes and knocks you out. Each game has so many options and because the deck of cards is so big no two games play the same. Amazing artwork and great components also make for a fantastic game. One of my most played games in the last 12 months. I love it.”

“Clank! is a deckbuilding adeventure game where you are trying to sneak into the dragon's lair to get treasure for points. It is a push your luck game, where you want to explore enough to secure yourself points, but no so much that you get left in the dungeon when you die. There is a tonne of replayability in this one as the deck of cards is pretty hefty, and I always think deck builders are really different each time you play”

“As someone who particularly enjoys deck building games Clank was of great interest as it is clearly inspired by one of my favourite games, Dominion. Clank uses a very similar card drafting mechanic and then adds so much more, it's like Dominion, with a board and an angry dragon! The dragon brings added tension to the game, make too much noise in the dungeon and you will wake the dragon, this involves taking the 'clank tokens' you have generated, putting them into a bag, giving it a good shake and then drawing a certain amount out to discover if you have been unfortunate enough to take damage. One of my favourite things about the game is the risk taking, do you attempt to travel all the way to the bottom of the dungeon to get the best treasure and risk not getting back out in time or do you just go halfway and risk not scoring enough points to win as your treasure is not as valuable? Clank played really well with 2 people and with more players comes more tension as you have more competition for treasure and more people making noise, generating clank tokens and angering the dragon! I cannot recommend Clank highly enough and can guarantee it will be hitting my table on a very regular basis for a long time.”
