Friday, a solo game, sees the player becoming Robin Crusoe, stuck on an island, fighting for survival, with just a deck of cards to help you survive.
In this deck-building game, it is up to the player to build a hand that will be able to fend off and defeat the hazards found on the small desert island, while also being able to take down TWO pirate ships, all with the goal of survival.
During a turn, a player will play cards from their deck, attempting to snuff out the hazards presented to them. The twist is, if you manage to defeat said hazards, then that hazard joins your fight deck and can be used in later rounds to benefit you and increase your chance of survival. Be sure not to fail though! If you do, you will lose valuable life points and find yourself nearing the verge of death. However, it does give you the opportunity to discard cards from your deck, something you could use to your advantage, especially to streamline your fighting deck, ready for the pirate ships!
Your deck will be challenged one last time, against two pirate ships that Crusoe (you) must defeat to escape the island and be victorious! While creating this fighting deck, you will also be able to pick up skills, skills that will be vital for you to survive. You can improve them as you win fights against the hazards of the island and also kick bad habits when you lose said fights.
Friday will challenge you and strategy is key to ensuring you successfully survive everything the island has to throw at you! Friday is a nice solo, card game sure to keep you entertained for hours!
