This was bought as I thought my husband would like it. I didn’t really see the appeal but after playing the first few missions together we really got into it. The map is really interesting and the crimes certainly get harder to solve as the game goes on. My main criticism is the lack of replayability and the short amount of gameplay you get in total. But as an inexpensive game, the experience is good fun.

I really enjoyed this game but it is a one play affair. In the box you get a massive map which looks like it belongs in a Where's Wally. You then have to go through the cases which are in envelopes. Each case has objectives which you have to solve by finding characters on the map. Its great fun to go through the cases and solve them bit by bit. Scouring the map with a magnifying glass makes you feel like Sherlock Holmes. The illustrations are brillaint and funny. The only issue with Crime City is its replayability. Once you've completed all the cases you can't really do them again for some time or ever if your memory is good. A game that works best with 1-2 players and best suited for an older audience. Despite limited replayability you can pass it on to others to enjoy.

Really nice little game for anyone who enjoys Where's Wally. Great for families. It comes with content warnings for the darker themes like murder etc. But from what I've seen so far its handled in a cartoonish and innofensive manner.

I love this game, it can be played with friends or on your own. It's the perfect way to get lost in game play. I received full house as a présent and got this one for myself. Very cool games, I hope they release another soon!

Surprisingly fun and engaging search through an incredibly detailed map.

The only downside to this game is you can only play it once. It's super easy to learn and teach, and you are straightaway drawn into it's little micro world. Finding clues is as easy looking, but there's a challenge to it that's rewarding. My friend and I spent about five hours, blasting through the cases pretending to be out of sorts Detective's. One last thing, this has probably been mentioned but some of the cases are a bit explicit in content that would make me hesitate to give to younger children.
