A Fake Artist Goes To New York Reviews

3.9 Rating 10 Reviews
Read Zatu Games Reviews

Players take turns being the Question Master, whose role is to set a category, write a word within that category on dry erase cards, and hand those out to other players as artists. At the same time, one player will have only an "X" written on his card. He is the fake artist! Players will then go around the table twice, drawing one contiguous stroke each on a paper to draw the word established by the Question Master, then guess who the fake artist is. If the fake artist is not caught, both the fake artist and the Question Master earn points; if the fake artist is caught and cannot guess what the word is, the artists earn points.

Awesome game but it is surprisingly small.

Really fun mix of drawing and social dedication. Everyone, bar one, knows what they are drawing and the rest of the group must pick out the bluffer. Really silly but really fun.

So basic premise is, everyone is the group bar one is given something that they are collectively going to draw one line at a time. The one objective, figure who the fake artist is. This is such a fun and stupid game in all the best ways. The fake artist has to somehow add to the drawing without a clue what it is they are working on, however they all have to keep it vague enough as if the fake artist guesses what it is then they score instead. A great game for family or with friends.

Way to annoying. Absolutely hate. People need to have some deduction skills. Just makes you hate human race.

This game can honestly be made at home. All you need is some colored marks and some paper. But having a dedicated small game of it helps.
