“Being a fan of Heroquest for over 30 years I was delighted to be able to invest in the new 2021 version. The new artwork is incredible and the board is slightly bigger than the original so you don’t have that cramped feeling. I love the solid furniture pieces but to be honest I’m still getting used to the new style playing miniatures as I still have much love for the originals but through time I’m sure I’ll grow to love them. Was a great price also and will definitely come back to this site for future Heroquest additions.”

“My first board game was HeroQuest, way back in 1989, at the tender age of nine... and I loved it!! So I was excited to jump into the 2021 version. So let's start with the good stuff: Artwork is nice, miniature sculpts are great, and they didn't change anything!! Now for the bad stuff: Production quality is disappointing, thin card and tokens, miniature plastic isn't great, and they didn't change anything!! Even the mistakes and typos from the original. So is it worth purchasing? Well that depends entirely on you. Do you have the original still? This is exactly the same with a larger board and snazzy new art. Do you primarily play solo or coop? I wouldn't suggest it for you either, as the (free) Companion App that allows you to play without an Evil Wizard player isn't great. Do you have young kids who want to get into board games? Jackpot sunshine!! You are exactly the sort of person who needs to buy HeroQuest.”

“Amazing game and great remake of the original. Would be five star but found (as many reviews indicate) that many of the figures needed to be reset using boiling water to fix bent legs/arms/bases/bodies/weapons. Also disappointed that the vacuum moulded plastic trays were in the box... could easily have been all card.”

“Excellent quality build on this remastered classic of a game, the familiarity with some of the models is still there despite their redesign everything feels true to the original spirit The box is sizeable, not as broad the original but about twice as tall.”

“Loved the original and this remake fixes everything that was annoying and wrong about the original. Plus if you get the app you can have the player that used to be the mentor back in the day actually play the game for maybe the first time in over 30 years.”
