In Tiny Epic Galaxies each player controls a galactic empire, aiming to expand their influence by acquiring highly contested planets and increasing their cosmic armada. The game revolves around an innovative dice-rolling combo mechanic. The number of dice you roll is determined by the strength of your galaxy. Each die is engraved with symbols representing the various actions you can take, such as moving a spaceship, increasing your culture or energy resources, or advancing your political or economic influence over newly discovered planets. Through careful planning, you must make the most out of your turn, taking the available actions in whichever order you consider most beneficial. But be careful, as each of your opponents can choose to follow each action you take by expending valuable resources. This means that it can always be your turn, even when it is someone else’s turn! Players will colonize new planets throughout the game, thereby earning victory points and accumulating special abilities which they can activate for their galactic empire. Careful spending of resources will ensure the fastest growth of your empire, while allowing you to receive the biggest possible pay‐off from the actions you take. Will your influence be enough to control the most powerful planets in the galaxy? Will you be able to meet your secret objective along the way? Will your empire stand victorious? Brilliantly fun and easy to play game. Had several good games of this, it's great.

Easy to learn and fun to play. Small enough footprint and box that you can take it with you and play a game over a pint at your local, even if you can only get one of the small tables! Highly recommend!

I have only played this solo so far but it has been a fun little game to play. The components are good quality and good looking and I think it will be also fun multiplayer.

Only played solo and 2 player game so far, but it's great for the money. I won't go into too much detail about the rules etc, as there are plenty of rules out there that will. What seems at first to be a straightforward race (to 21 points) quickly becomes more nuanced after a couple of games, with a good degree of depth. But it IS a competitive game. The chance element of rolling dice for actions is mitigated by the availability of re-rolls and the converter (where you sacrifice 2 dice to get to choose the outcome of a 3rd). Most games are pretty close, meaning each players' secret mission often becomes the core of your strategy, as that extra 2 or 3 points at game end can often win you the game. The hardest thing for me to remember is the 'follow' rule, but that's only because it's the first game I've played that has the mechanism. The 'follow' rule is also a good way to mitigate bad dice rolling! I took this game on holiday in my rucksack, and my partner and I played at least 2 games a day. The game is so small it fitted in a small side pouch and weighs nothing, so great if your a hand luggage only traveller. My only gripe would be that I would have preferred the player and action boards to be heavier cardstock, but for the price that's a minor quibble. Highly recommended.

Excellant game that is small enough to take with you but is a full game. The game is great fun, with strategy but simple enough for the whole family. A great buy and a game that can fit many different groups.
