“Really not the best from Fantasy Flight. It part from the spirit of board games, where a game should be sufficient in itself. I am surprised nobody in this reviews underline the fact that this game is deigned to make you buy new booster of card, exactly like Magic The Gathering. Replayability should be only 1 star. We found the game really hard to win without extra expansions, and it feels really unpleasant to be pushed to buy more products to have a good game. A box of Eldricht Horror is 40£ and you can replay many times. This is 30£, and the story is exactly the same every time as the chapter cards are the same in the same order. I Imagine that if you are ready to buy dozens of individual packs of cards the game must be great, but that is really far from being a good board game ! in the "might not like" of Zatu it says "need 2 core copies for a complete play set", is this a joke !? Why not selling a complete game from the start ? If you're a Catan, Pandemic, Zombies, Race for the Galaxy fan type, you won't like this.”

“We found about this game through Tabletop simulator and enjoyed it so much we had to get a physical copy. Did not regret this decision - this is a very fun and addictive game, with gorgeous card artwork and a ton of replayability. It's a shame that so many packs are out of print. We are now looking forward to be drowned in horror in The Circle Undone.”

“Absolutely brilliant. If you love H. P. Lovecraft stories this is must have for you. It's simple to master, beautiful crafted and all components are top shelf quality. Gameplay is absolutely fantastic, gives role-playing-like feel and it emulates oppressiveness, depression and fear of Lovecraftian magnitude”

“Great atmosphere. The mechanics are so well designed; easy to learn but rich and rewarding. It is a hard game (for me at least), even on easy! I love the theme. The art is superb too. Can’t recommend it enough. I bought the core set and one week later bought the first expansion and all six Mythos packs and the return to the first expansion. I can play on my own or with up to three others. I think two players is best though.”
