The Ticket to Ride Europa 1912 expansion for the Ticket to Ride series includes 101 Destination Tickets - the 46 original tickets, plus 55 new ones that enable 3 new variants to the Ticket to Ride Europe map: Europe Expanded, which adds 19 new routes to the original 46; Big Cities of Europe, with tickets to 9 major European cities; and Mega Europe, which uses all the new routes as well as the 46 original Destination Tickets. This expansion also introduces Warehouses & Depots - new game rules and pieces that create an additional strategic layer and can be played with any of the Ticket to Ride maps. Wooden Train Depots are placed on cities selected by each player. Throughout the game, each player's Warehouse will accumulate Train cards and those who have the foresight, clever timing, or just plain good fortune to build a route to a Depot can make off with a fistful of Train cards. Depot placement and skillful Warehouse tactics become a key part of a winning Ticket to Ride strategy!

This is a must have for any ticket to ride Europe lovers. This adds a new module with warehouses and depots that works well with higher player counts but not so well with 2 but where this shines is in the extra cards. It introduces so much needed extra long routes, new short destination cards some going up to 14 points as well as new variant, big cities. These cards will be used instead of the original destination cards and all routes will go in and out of a select number of cities. This will give the game a tighter more restricted feel and is a nice way to make a lower player count more competitive.

Nice idea but I think we introduced it at the wrong time. We didn't have a big enough table for everybody's cards, warehouses, tokens etc etc. The core game is big enough and now all players need extra space for a "warehouse" card and some depots. It's also an extra action EVERY turn and if you forget one it's like "what should we do"? The first time we played this it was with people who hadn't played the base game so it got a little confusing and frustrating but once you get used to it, it does add a nice extra element to an already excellent game.

We were so pleased to get this, as it adds plenty more to an already brilliant game. More long routes and the inclusion of the warehouses adding a whole new dimension to the game. Days Of Wonder can do no wrong. And for such a great price it's a no-brainer to own this.
