A clever tile-laying game that creates paths for you and your opponents to follow. But beware! Not all paths are safe and you may find yourself leaving the board or even moving headlong into an opponent, neither of which can be good. A game for 2 - 8 players that try to plan a strategy with a hand of 3 tiles. players take turns to lay a tile then move along the path and draw another tile if still in the game. The last player standing wins, unless when the last tile is played the remaining players all leave the board on the same turn or bump into each other thus forcing a tie. Another favorite game of my family. Ideal to warm up with at the start of a get together.

Having played this previously (and being knocked out in my second go due to an overly aggressive child!) I was desperate for my own copy to practise the game and exact my revenge! Tsuro is a fantastically simple game, requiring the minimum of explanation, a quick gameplay time and the elegant board is different to every other game in my collection. It plays just as well with two as it does a larger number of people (although different strategies need to be employed). And if you do get knocked out in your second go, it's still fun to watch the game conclude and the next round doesn't take too long before you can play again. I still need to refine my game-playing approach, but I will beat that child one day.

This is an awesome game owing to it's simplicity. I've played it with friends and family in varying age groups and everyone has picked it up within a few turns. The quality of the board is good and the presentation great. Maybe I'd have preferred to have wooden playing pieces instead of plastic, but that may just be personal preference. Great that each tile is individual, so doesn't allow for "tile-counting" as such. Also awesome that the game is 1-8 players as so many games limit to 4. This is a good game for groups as it's fast-moving and simple, so it's easy to play with 5+ no problems!! Recommended if you like easy to pick up but involving some basic strategy, fairly fast-moving and able to chat whilst playing.

Very simple to pick up - an excellent game to get people who don't usually play involved. A relaxing and soothing game!

This is a simple game with some strategy and a little luck, great for breaking the ice on gaming nights and for larger numbers. Beautiful design and executed components and fun to play and easy to learn. So what could be better? Well the dragon tile could have been used better perhaps introducing a quality dragon resin piece into the game to chase the pieces or one of them, this would improve the theme which is a little short. Great games are often simple and easy to learn and this fits the bill
