On an uninhabited island in uncharted seas, explorers have found traces of a great civilization. Now you will lead an expedition to explore the island, find lost artifacts, and face fearsome guardians, all in a quest to learn the island's secrets.

Lost Ruins of Arnak combines deck-building and worker placement in a game of exploration, resource management, and discovery. In addition to traditional deck-builder effects, cards can also be used to place workers, and new worker actions become available as players explore the island. Some of these actions require resources instead of workers, so building a solid resource base will be essential. You are limited to only one action per turn, so make your choice carefully... what action will benefit you most now? And what can you afford to do later... assuming someone else doesn't take the action first!?

Decks are small, and randomness in the game is heavily mitigated by the wealth of tactical decisions offered on the game board. With a variety of worker actions, artifacts, and equipment cards, the set-up for each game will be unique, encouraging players to explore new strategies to meet the challenge.

I recently received Lost Ruins of Arnak and have had a blast playing it with friends and family. The game is well-designed, with clear instructions and high-quality components. The gameplay is engaging and challenging, keeping everyone on the edge of their seat. The explored jungle theme is executed perfectly. The replay value is high and I can't wait to play it again. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun and exciting addition to their board game collection.

Thoroughly enjoyable, crunchy worker placement game. Lots of interesting choices each turn... but not too many. A range of routes to win. Super theming and production.

A really great worker placement and deck builder, with a great theme and even better production value. The gems, arrowheads and tablets are fantastic and a welcome change. The game plays really well and but it does suffer from “ooo if it just had one more turn…” which can make certain elements, like the research track feel unfinished. Great all round though - excited to see how the expansion plays with it!

Many games that receive the amount of positive hype as 'Arnak' did do not deserve it. They are hyped because of miniatures, KS sales etc, but 'Arnak' is as good, probably better than its hype attends to. There is plenty to do for all players, in fact there is more that you want to do than is possible each turn. This makes it one of those games that is infuriatingly frustrating but similarly addictive. It is a bit of a table-hog due to the size of the board and necessary player areas, but all aspects are within vision and reach of all players. Simple but coherent and logical mechanics. Definitely a 5 star game.

£52 on Amazon and £58 in my FLGS. Not a clue why this is so extortionately expensive on Zatu!
