The Sheriff of Nottingham is a fun and engaging game for all where each player will have the chance to step into the shoes of the Sheriff himself! Other players, acting as Merchants will attempt to bring their goods into the city for profit. Beware though, while many may act as honest merchants, there is always the possibility of contraband being smuggled into the city! Experience Nottingham in a whole new way! Declare your goods, deal with the Sheriff and secure victory in a fun-filled and exciting adventure! Ages 13+, 3-5 players, 45-60 minutes playing time.

“Sheriff is a really fun 5 player game where everyone is trying to get contraband through the sheriff and become the royal of chickens! Or cheese or bread. Winning a game by a few pennies is gratified and always fun! Really easy to set up and especially fun if everyone role plays there character! Highly recommend this for a fun afternoon! Plus it's a really good price!”

“Fun game that's surely worthy of any collection. I'd say it's a game that requires a little more imagination from the players, as the game lends itself better to getting into the roles of each character more.”

“We Played this at the weekend with 5 of us (age range 25-35 years old). The game play is well structured, simple to set up and has a good flow. We introduced the Merry men expansion which offers several options of play to integrate into the base game. We introduced 3 of them to increase the depth of play, all of which worked seamlessly with the base game. As we played through our rounds, we each became better and better at bluffing the sheriff (well most of us) and we had non stop laughs throughout. We did reduce the time the sheriff had to inspect players sacks which helped the game flow better. The base game is good as a stand alone game but if you want a game for 6 people and a little more complexity then I definitely recommend adding the Merry men expansion.”
