Take control of one of the great cities of the ancient world. Gather resources, develop commercial routes and affirm your military supremacy. Build your city and erect an architectural wonder which will transcend future times! 7 Wonders, one of the most acclaimed board games ever, returns with a gorgeous new edition. WHAT'S NEW? • The game received a complete visual redesign. The cover, the cards' design, the Wonders, the insert: everything was redesigned! • The rules have been entirely revised to make them more easily accessible to new players. Gone are the long pages to read; we now have an 8-page booklet that’s much easier to understand straight away! The player aid has also been fully redesigned. • Card layout has been improved, which allows for information to be more easily read. The guild cards, spread out over the many 7 Wonders expansions, have been consolidated and added to the new basegame. • Steps have been taken to improve immersion through the game's titular theme - the Wonders themselves! The Wonders have been made bigger and more prominent, and their A and B sides have been replaced by a day side and a night side for a more flavourful experience. Both the base game and the expansions are also moving to larger, standard-sized boxes. • Taking inspiration from chaining system from 7 Wonders Duel; instead of using named structures for chaining, the cards now have symbols. This streamlines chaining and makes it more intuitive. • Thanks to symbols discreetly inserted in the contents of the game, 7 Wonders and its expansions are now adapted for colourblind players. ABOUT THE GAME You are the leader of one of the 7 great cities of the Ancient World. Gather resources, develop commercial routes, and affirm your military supremacy. Build your city and erect an architectural wonder which will transcend future times. 7 Wonders lasts three ages. In each age, players receive seven cards from a particular deck, choose one of those cards, then pass the remainder to an adjacent player. Players reveal their cards simultaneously, paying resources if needed or collecting resources or interacting with other players in various ways. (Players have individual boards with special powers on which to organise their cards, and the boards are double-sided). Each player then chooses another card from the deck they were passed, and the process repeats until players have six cards in play from that age. After three ages, the game ends. In essence, 7 Wonders is a card development game. Some cards have immediate effects, while others provide bonuses or upgrades later in the game. Some cards provide discounts on future purchases. Some provide military strength to overpower your neighbours and others give nothing but victory points. Each card is played immediately after being drafted, so you'll know which cards your neighbour is receiving and how his choices might affect what you've already built up. Cards are passed left-right-left over the three ages, so you need to keep an eye on the neighbours in both directions.

This game was a bit daunting at first but once watching a few videos and reading over things we started. It was so much fun and I liked that you had to think about what strategy you were going to use it can get very competitive! I really enjoyed this and will be playing it again soon i’m sure. I received this product for free, but this is an honest review.

I received this game for free but this is an honest review. 7 wonders is a quick to set up- up to 7 player game for children ages 10+, it requires lots of player interaction and you have to hope your neighbour has what you need if you don't! It's a card drafting, Tableau building, light engine builder- good gateway game for non gamers to get into the hobby or a good starter game for an evening of gaming

I received the product for free, but this is an honest review. Overall, my impression of the game is positive, but with one caveat. First, let me say that my family and I enjoyed playing "7 Wonders." The game is easy to learn and quick to play, which makes it perfect for family game nights or for groups of friends. The theme of building a civilization and constructing Wonders of the World is engaging and immersive, and the game mechanics are cleverly designed to keep players engaged throughout the game. However, the one downside we found was the minimal interaction between players. While the game allows for some degree of strategic play and decision-making, there isn't a lot of opportunity for direct interaction between players. This can be a bit of a disappointment for a family game, where the social aspect of playing together is often as important as the game itself. That being said, we still enjoyed playing "7 Wonders" and would recommend it to others who are looking for a quick and engaging game with a unique theme. The game's strengths in terms of easy gameplay and clever mechanics outweigh its minor drawback of minimal player interaction.

On of the original drafting games and still one of the best. Draft cards, build your empire and crush your opponents. A game that plays well at higher player counts and does not suffer as everyone plays at the same time. Great fun.

7 Wonders is a nice and light game for everyone. The game mechanics are not too complex and the duration of each game is very reasonable. The game is also strategic enough to please more experienced gamers although it tends to be a bit repetitive after a few plays

An amazing game that is so easy to teach but has lots of strategy. Plays as quick with 7 players as it does with 3. A great game to teach people new to the hobby many different mechanisms including drafting. Highly recommend to any type of player.
