Take control of one of the great cities of the ancient world. Gather resources, develop commercial routes and affirm your military supremacy. Build your city and erect an architectural wonder which will transcend future times! 7 Wonders, one of the most acclaimed board games ever, returns with a gorgeous new edition. WHAT'S NEW? • The game received a complete visual redesign. The cover, the cards' design, the Wonders, the insert: everything was redesigned! • The rules have been entirely revised to make them more easily accessible to new players. Gone are the long pages to read; we now have an 8-page booklet that’s much easier to understand straight away! The player aid has also been fully redesigned. • Card layout has been improved, which allows for information to be more easily read. The guild cards, spread out over the many 7 Wonders expansions, have been consolidated and added to the new basegame. • Steps have been taken to improve immersion through the game's titular theme - the Wonders themselves! The Wonders have been made bigger and more prominent, and their A and B sides have been replaced by a day side and a night side for a more flavourful experience. Both the base game and the expansions are also moving to larger, standard-sized boxes. • Taking inspiration from chaining system from 7 Wonders Duel; instead of using named structures for chaining, the cards now have symbols. This streamlines chaining and makes it more intuitive. • Thanks to symbols discreetly inserted in the contents of the game, 7 Wonders and its expansions are now adapted for colourblind players. ABOUT THE GAME You are the leader of one of the 7 great cities of the Ancient World. Gather resources, develop commercial routes, and affirm your military supremacy. Build your city and erect an architectural wonder which will transcend future times. 7 Wonders lasts three ages. In each age, players receive seven cards from a particular deck, choose one of those cards, then pass the remainder to an adjacent player. Players reveal their cards simultaneously, paying resources if needed or collecting resources or interacting with other players in various ways. (Players have individual boards with special powers on which to organise their cards, and the boards are double-sided). Each player then chooses another card from the deck they were passed, and the process repeats until players have six cards in play from that age. After three ages, the game ends. In essence, 7 Wonders is a card development game. Some cards have immediate effects, while others provide bonuses or upgrades later in the game. Some cards provide discounts on future purchases. Some provide military strength to overpower your neighbours and others give nothing but victory points. Each card is played immediately after being drafted, so you'll know which cards your neighbour is receiving and how his choices might affect what you've already built up. Cards are passed left-right-left over the three ages, so you need to keep an eye on the neighbours in both directions.

We recently recieved this game for free in exchange for an honest review. To be honest, we have been looking at it for a while and greatly enjoyed the gameplays we saw over the years, but for some reason or the other **no money** it just didn't work out. Now that we have the game we have played it multiple times, which with a 4 yo in the house is an achievement by itself. It was easyt o pick up, and the bes part was the game didn't take too long, unlike some of the other resource generatign games we have played. A 45 minute game play is a boon, though we have only ever played it with 3 players and ont he day side. Ove rhte next few weeks we'll probably give the night side a go and then scrounge for more people so that we can have a more complex game.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game, once we got going! Watching the online tutorial ('Watch it Played') was exceptionally helpful, and once you get to the scoring stage (and you repeat this) it really starts to make sense. One tip is not to play the 'Wonder' part to start with - once you get used to the concept then introduce them. The only reason we have given 4 stars, not 5, is that it's not a two-player game - but we are going to buy the Duel pack so we can play as a two player! *I received this product for free, but this is an honest review*

Having played 7 Wonders Duel a few years ago and really enjoying it, I was keen to play the extended 3-7 player version of 7 Wonders. This game has the excitement of building a city, constructions one of the 7 Wonders while also producing resources and keeping a keen eye on your military prowess to ensure you have a good balance of all 3! The game was easy to learn, but we did use a YouTube video (shoutout to ‘Watch It Played) as I find traditional instructions can be confusing sometimes. Once we had watched the video we played a run through game and immediately got the hang of it. Looking at the instructions it could be seen as quite intimidating as there are lots of different symbols in the instruction manual however most of these you don’t need to look at until the symbol comes up on your hand and this is usually at the end of the game anyway! Overall I’d say 7 Wonders is an easy to learn and easy to play game, with great re-playability as there are different wonders and different cards depending on how many players you re playing with. We had fun playing it as a 3 player game and it will definitely be coming with me to my family games nights in the future! Disclaimer: I received this product for free from the creator and Come Round marketing however this review is my own, and an honest review.

This is a strategic game and you are competing to gain the most points at the end of the game. I have played several times with adults and we found the game really enjoyable. I like the fact that no two games are the same and this is a game that can be played many times with different levels and outcomes. The instructions are straight forward and there is a very good you tube tutorial which we found very helpful when setting up the game. The first game takes slightly longer than advertised while you familiarise yourself with the rules and the symbols on the cards. At the end of the game you can use a score pad included or use the free app which we did and this made totting up the points really easy.

I received this game for free this is a honest review. When I first checked this out I thought it would be complicated so I watched a video to help me out and it was easier then expected. I played with the minimum of 3 players but I do think the game would be better best played with more players. Visually it is excellent and inclusive to anyone suffering from colour blindness. It makes you think you have to use your brain but that is what I enjoy. It took us around 40 minutes to complete a game. I certainly think this is worth a buy.

If it wasn't for my strategy-loving 11yr old figuring out the game from tutorials, we would be pretty stuck. I honestly struggled understanding the rules even with online tutorials, but I'm not a huge fan of this type of game - didn't even know what a drafting game was until I read the other reviews. I think once you get the hang of it I'm sure it can be pretty fun. We had a group of 11-12 yr olds over who were new to the game or had just learned it, and they didn't finish after 1hr playing. For us, it definitely took longer than 30mins to complete all 3 ages. The quality of the game itself is topnotch and the images spark fun conversations. *I received the product for free, but this is an honest review*

A great strategy board game. Players aim to develop and build their civilizations which are based on the Antiquities. Hence, the name 7 Wonders. My teenage children picked up the rules quickly I received the product for free but this is an honest review.
